Copy and paste is the easiest way to get a date on them sites especially pof.
Don’t go into detail with your message just keep it short and simple for the first. Especially as you’ll only get one reply to every 5 messages. Most women on them sites are punching way above their weight, wanting tall, dark and rich, they then get used by these guys and end up back on them sites crying saying all blokes are c****
copy and paste, just change the names
Pof is like a cattle market, you’ll deffo get a few jumps out of it!

Yes immigration is going to knacker the country, and is already having a massive affect where I live and work, I bet the most of you live away from it all in the country side with your big posh houses and cars, and I bet the most of you are employers too…..but it will catch up with you. :-)

Apologies kids, my choice of the word “serpentine” was ridiculous! I think I just meant steep, techy, and zig-zag(gy). Though I’m a few Black Sheep to the wind right now so who knows.

Is pussywillow an ex pinkbike grom? Chats like it

Aye up buddie, you need to look above for what the word serp rider is, you’ve got it wrong there mate, a serp track is the opposite of techy I keep telling you!

    What is ‘serp’?

    POSTED 39 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

    Great question! :D

A serp is basically short for serpentine and comes from the term serp rider which derives from the smooth serpentine trail in France which every new comer to the sport has been mislead and thinks it’s a typical downhill track and so wear there full body armour, neck braces to fit in with the rest of the serps while riding down it on there brand new hardly used carbon fibre 650b full on dh bike which has been recommended to them by all the magazine’s and marketing out there, the thing is, the serpentine track is more like a gravity fed pump track which gets very boring and predictable after the first berm and would be far more interesting riding down it on a shopping trolley.. I hope this has answered your question Matt.

Nice video, and good rider, shame about the last bit of trails looking very much serp style tracks though, would have looked better down something a lot more technical and proved more a point than riding trail centre serp tracks. I hope cotic do well as they ain’t being sheep and following the rest, instead they’re going with what they know makes sense, no silly Jay boy 29r wheels or no bs 650 wheels, although like someone says above that unfortunately they’re sooner or later gonna be forced into 650 but much much respect to them for sticking with 26 8)

Ooouch! You **** up there big time! Plus if and when you come to sell it, the second hand price on a five would have been so much better than a crappie white

and also seeing that pic too, holy cow! im guessing thats after a alps trip or something? cannot imagine them getting that hot in the uk, we dont have descents that long that could possibly cause that?!?!

No, it’ll be because either a, riding a tandem with heavy luggage down a long alpine descent in which case even a normal fully steel rotor would have distorted or b, they are basically shit riders mincing down an alpine descent with the brakes on full jam all the way down or c, they work for hope and love slagging better made stuff off
Tbh I know loads of riders who have ice tech brakes and not had any issues. Hope rotors are prone to bending quite easily I have found out over the years… Just be cautious.

Yep crc a big con, doesn’t even let you go to classic site anymore, also don’t give you the tracking number which they use to.. obvious con, and for that reason I don’t use them anymore. 8)

Yes, I had this happen to me a few year back…..only it was a hope light. Thing is, I bet this has come from one of the fake solar x2, so please don’t blame it on them all. With how popular and good these lights are the majority of mountain bikers who go night riding will have them, so that’s quite a lot of people with dodgy lights from China that have been selling them for years now, and yours is maybe one of the very few reported?

    GolfChick – Member
I know we’ve all heard the warnings about not leaving the chargers unattended because of the fire risk but never mind leaving it unattended, i shouldnt even plug the bloomin thing in! Just back off our night ride, solarstorm lasted an hourish then died, stumbled home the rest of the route with one light between two. Got home afterwards cleared up etc and decided to plug in the battery to recharge it. It had been plugged in about ten mins maybe, then a house/window shattering bang resonated through the entire house and the charging plug and battery pack launched itself across a room. Within a metre of our dog who is now refusing to leave our side, even lying on hard floors which she NEVER does, because it scared her so much. Threw out the fuses for entire house, has left a nice burn mark on the wall socket and a few smouldering marks on the dog bed that sits right next to plug. I think we’ll pay for a better quality light now as we were fairly disappointed with its performance when it did work on the trail. Much better spread and beam on our MagicShine!

Hmmmm, now I think you may have given the game away with that paragraph!

Thats why he asked for a mud tyre not a rocky tyre. Seems to have worked

    POSTED 53 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST ]

There is plenty of rocks on some very muddy trails,
Obviously though this was more an cycle cross field descent by the sounds of it, in which case the wet scream paid of nicely :-)

If it’s proper muddy then the wetscream on the front IMO. And probably the Mary in the back if it fits- more an intermediate but it’ll do the job.

Out of interest, why the wet scream over muddy Mary up front?
Wet screams are very good in the mud I appreciate but I’d rather have a nice wider volume tyre up front like the muddy Mary especially downhilling and if a rocky track, and the thinner wet scream driving through the mud at the back

In your case I think that applies to spelling and grammar, as well as intent.

Sadly, I would imagine Pussyflaps is actually quite a good rider, what with all the bravado posted on here.

I’d actually like to see how good though – so, next time I’m up at Wharncliffe, hopefully you’ll pop along and show me.

BTW, I’m not a fantastic rider, but can hold my own on a DH.

    You have been swayed boy!
?? You’ve lost me. My point to you is why get upset over what others choose to buy? Enduro happens to be a handy tag for a certain type of riding/bike. You don’t have to buy one, as i have chosen not to. Your the one who started a thread to moan about it on here. Seems bizarre you care so much about other folks buying choices.

All i’ve tried to point out to you is the bike industry needs to re invent certain things now and again to get more people into the sport or refine bikes for certain types of riding. likewise if we all just kept the bikes we’ve been riding for years maybe the knock on effect would be no advertising revenue, no magazines, no forums.

Theres no need to look down your nose at the people that have been ‘sucked in’ to the 650b/enduro hype, so what? When you bought your first MTB the cross guys/roadies probably thought the same about you!
