Do you Really need another car is your current one about to fall apart? If you have just had a little one surely the money you’d waste on a newer car would be better spent on something you really need.

If you need a new car just to take all the stuff need for a baby then you need to take less stuff with you there is no need for a bigger car.

The car I recommend is your current 07 Focus, save your money and do something nice with/for your family instead.

Some people do make me laugh shouting the odds about people who claim compo for injuries, who are then the first to call the solicitors when they are injured. I’m not saying that the people on here are that type but I work with a couple who had a right go at one of my mates when he had an accident and claimed compo for Broken Limbs sprouting the ususal stuff that has been said above. However they had a shunt and the second phone call after insurance was dial a compo claim.

My Step dad had the right idea, he had a head on smash 20 years ago a car came round a bend on the wrong side of road etc etc. anyway when he got “whiplash” he claimed but didn’t a payout, he claimed for medical costs which 20 years later he has major problems with his neck and gets his physio etc paid for (obviously only for his neck)IMO opinion thats the way to go as big payouts are only any good short term and as some have mentioned before years after the event they are still paying for physio etc way after the compo money has been spent.

My thoughts are then if you have a accident at work or at home thats not your fault then people should claim compensation but only so that they are not out of pocket for replacment of cars, bikes, clothing, enforced time of work and medical expenses, rather than the Get rich quick claims that are advertised during Jeremy Kyle.

Mine are set of by bright lights usually coupled with being over tired, been getting since quite young, Vision goes straight away what ever i look at I can’t see, this lasts about 30 mins then is time form the skull to be crushed usually last a day although paracetamol and Brufen early doors reduces the pain but still get the Hangover for up to 2 days, once got one walking the dog vision went so got back in car and drove home mrs got back to find car abandond in drive doors wide open garden gate wide open house wide open and a trail of destruction as I made my way to bed she found me in bed with the dog lying near me looking very worried,

RAF here 20 years so far 10 to go. Avionincs techniain more commonaly known as a fairy, spent 5 Years ish a pan trash doing flight servicings, Best 5 years of my career had lots of fun, granted there was a fair amount of BS but in general all good. spent 5 years in a bay, before getting back on aircraft, now training AMMs how to Carry out flight servincings, hardly a day goes by with out me thinking what a cool job I have usually when walking along the Pan with various aircraft around me, although not a spotter so to speak I just love being and working around aircraft.

Like has already been said CIO go for the needs of the service not individual, when i first applied to join I was told I could only join as a driver, my reply was whats the point of joining the RAF if I can’t work on aircraft I can be a driver anywhere

Bear in mind each service has there fair share of Horror/feel good stories. Plus what has been said about Basic and trade training there is a lot of BS just grin and bare it and you’ll be fine as my grandad told me the day before I left “Keep you mouth shut and your Bowels open” and also bare in mind that depending on your choice you will be put in harms way.

That sounds like a plan to me John Thanks. what i might suggest is a run through of the lot tomorrow and go from there ID The easy ,Difficult and ones that need a little work. there are 4 songs I have played before all be it a smidge faster and louder I think it’ll be good for me as I’ll need to reign it in a fair bit.
My normal set is 2 x 45 mins ish that with 10 – 15 songs in each. we used to do a set of our own stuff and a set of covers when we first started then mixed it up.

Our ex guitaristin a band he was in years ago used to do one set then go off and have some errrr shall we say “medication” then play the same set backwards and faster.

not 100% how long were playing for i’m guessing 2 sets about 45 mins – 1 hour each I think the list i’ve been given is their full set list ATM. mind you with some of the songs on there reckon I could up the tempo a touch and get an hour set down to 20 mins and then have a beer or two

Ive got 30 songs to learn, So far no real shockers most of the songs I’ve heard before but now need to listen to them First practive tomorrow.

I Prefer to ride Flats however on long rides was getting alot of knee pain, Got some SPDs and No more knee pain. My theory is that my feet are quite splayed when riding flats so knee is not bending in the correct plain so when riding SPD my feet float alot more and are more straight and so knee bends in correct plain. If you get Mean, this is only a personnel theory.

But Basically Its your Bike you use what you want/feels right for you Bugger what everyone else say’s.
