I’ve got some – great piece of kit. In the process of getting a boost front fork mount bracket made as I have not seen available online anywhere so far.

Side note; they can be squeezed in bike box when travelling international by air. Then stick em on the rental car on arrival… 🙂

Watched women’s today live here in Qatar. Crowds were far from spectacular… there was at least 10 of us. Even Yorkshire Rose flag flying, so that’s counts for something. Women’s sprint finish was pretty sharp tho.

Had some sixC. Fab cranks. I’m big’ish but kit usually lasts well. I noticed on my cranks some small play on pedal inserts after 2 1/2 years use. They were replaced under warranty within days and without any issues.(I did have receipts as original purchaser). Great product. Love em!

    Yep, small shop. Shame tho.
I thought they supported the local scene pretty good – NDH events and Descend Hams.

    Cheers for the info.

It’s a few hundred, not a few thousand (unfortunately!), so the difference is not that much between different exchange centres.

I always seem to have a knack of getting worst deal and then walking around the corner and finding I could have had an extra £20 quid in my pocket. Not exactly a lotto win, but new gloves, chain, or brake pads…

Cheers everyone. Pretty much what I thought.

I stick to scoffing fish and noodles, and talking the boss into buying as many beers as poss 😆

I’ve found the Park patches last for ages. I have some in my commuter (in seat bag, stuff the rules too!) and keep them in the little plastic box that they come in. Seem to last well and seat bag often gets proper soaking!!

Have sets in pack too for MTB, but that’s usually a tube swap…

I like it, and the bike as a whole looks awesome.

Now whether all the additional ‘bits’, although out of the way, can stand up to continuous UK coating in muck is a different matter…

Scruff, that makes sense then. I know loads of re-sole places offer stealth rubber.

keeping eye out for the adidas in shops to see what they are like. http://www.adidas.co.uk/terrex-solo-shoes/M22244_600.html They don’t look too bad…

It may have been a gimmick, but I’m sure I saw a pic of adidas shoes with conti black chili sole too. I may have imagined that tho after a few too many ales 😆

Been running XO trails for over 6 mths – no probs.

Avid organic pads work very well… but don’t last that long so I recommend packing an extra set if you’ve got a big weekend away.

    +1 Epicyclo

    Im in 40’s

Get some flats, drop your saddle, focus on body position and core strength. Once you have that sorted then apply that riding style to whatever setup you want. This approach sorted out my lower back (which I was targeting) and also made knees feel better.

Feel better out on the trails too 🙂

$150 so it’ll be at least £100 quid when available, hmmm, great idea tho…

The spider web is hazard warning tape as the wood feature is not complete (you don’t see any tyre tracks on it and it is as wobbly as a wobbly thing). It is not on main line and is set up as a jump 😯

Agree with bandito – will not help secure open access for mtbers…

    Ski holiday savings, pfffff 🙄

Try pricing up 4x return airfares to NZ during peak (holiday) season and then trying to negotiate 3 weeks off work from your employer in one go 😯

Sharky, good summary and I agree with you that Oracle are the more deserving of a win looking at the whole series.

NZ press and public are hacking TNZ down. Flashbacks of NZ choking like in previous Rugby World Cups is making everyones stomachs churn…

As I said previously, it makes for some damn excity telly tho 😀

    Both boats are NZ boats!!

Ben’s helped with tactics for sure, but changes on Oracle by design/build team every day (NZers) is what has caused the noticable increase in boat speed and performance.

Edge of the seat stuff tho….

hmmm, they dont seem to be showing the kits on their site. You should be ok without genuine formula bits from the various sites around. 🙂

The ‘puddle’ is about 1m wide (same width as track) and about 3m – 4m long. We do not want to widen the track, but that is what is starting to happen as other riders in the area look at options to push around during winter.

It is a general low spot in the trail with run in from the high side.

We’ll give trench a go… Prob only option at this stage…

    +1 for Islabikes.

If your daughter is quite tall like mine, defo go for the 16in. the standover is good and there is loads of adjustment available. She will grow out of 14in quicker than you think.

Something else to keep in mind is mudguards. Ive got them on the 16in Islabike and they make a huge difference in out lovely English weather. My daugher loved them as she could blast through puddles when learning without getting covered in kak. I think Islabikes is one of the few that offer proper guards for the smaller bikes.

    Hi JT.

iPad 4 retina here. Love it. Screen is very good and battery lasts well when high use – streaming video (Sky Go, iplayer, red bull TV, etc). No regrets.

    Cheers
