LS one here too and the best bit of winter kit I’ve ever had. Mate has the convertible but never takes the sleeves off – says he wishes he’s gone LS.

    BBC and climate reporting. Lolz.
Beat the data enough and it will admit to anything.

For Typhoon fans, I bumped into this a while back. Worth a watch – the usual collection of heros.

60mph with a couple of litres of jet fuel between your legs. What could possibly go wrong.

Based on recent trips, I’d add Sedona, Lake Tahoe, and Mammoth.

Also at Wellesbourne, organised a route to go that way. I’ll see if I can load up the bike & bomber video.

Woke at 8:30 after 10 hour sleep. Quick brekky then out on the mtb for a local dash. Then four hours windsurfing. Nice home cooked dinner then we skyped with son and grandkids in California and about to go online to the kids on Oz. Life is good.

Happened to me while on holiday. The most painful and debilitating thing I have ever had – abscess on a faulty root canal. I would have done some unnatural things to have made it stop. It took a prescription pain killer to get it under control, and then the abscess ruptured before the dentist could get in there, which was immediate relief and luckily no nasty after effects.
Get it sorted (or get some serious pain killers. Agree on the morphine !)

Licence or advertising is a straw man argument.
If it’s as great as the supporters say, it will attract plenty of subscribers.
Add it to my rates ? You can stick that.

I knew we’d get you converted. And I’ve told you about playing the age card ! Damn fine performance though.

First car I owned in 1978 was a Lotus Cortina. I was moving on from motor biking and needed something with a bit of go. I guess I should have kept it !

Took teenage son and mates into town for a night out, and they were planning on staying in town with one of the group. Thought no more of it and went to bed…..woken at about 3am by somebody climbing in through the bedroom window, accessible from the roof as it’s a dormer. Leapt out of bed shouting and ready to eject the body that was half way into the room. Just about to make contact when the boy realises what’s coming and calls out. Took a while for everyone to calm down ! Said he didn’t want to ring and wake us up.

First house our son and his wife bought in the states had a cupboard full of live ammunition. Police called in to do a clear up. Turns out the previous was special forces of some sort.

59 this year and still exercising 6/7 times a week, but a mix of biking, running, swimming and circuits. And I windsurf whenever it’s windy and warm enough. Slightly dodgy lower back from too many years of rowing, and a mild heart arrhythmia controlled by drugs, and I’ve definitely slowed down a bit since 55. But I’ve finally given up being super competitive after 40 years of all sorts of racing, which required a bit of brain re-wiring and I now just do stuff for fun. Still hold a number of local off road KOMs though 😀

Drive to the canyon, do a day hike there on the Angel Trail out to Plateau Point which you should be able to nail in under 5 hours if you’re in any kind of shape. Then drive down to Sedona and do some biking.

We recently got a Siemens WM14Q360GB, £400 from In Stock Appliances, who delivered and took the old one away.
Researched in Which and various review sites. We wanted one which could delay start for overnight washes and choices were limited with this option. 4 months in it’s all good and the washing is much better the old machine, and it doesn’t sound like a Hope Freehub like the old one did 😀

Come to the south end of the county and then around Edge Hill and up into North Oxfordshire, or head over Ilmington way and take in the north of the Cotswolds and Chipping Campden and Broadway. Couldn’t get more Englishness.
And you’ll realise why biking around here is a hidden gem 😀

Mine’s gone the other way, over stiff when ‘on’, but usable when ‘off’. The clutch mechanism is working ok, but something beyond the clutch is restricting the movement. Next thing to replace I guess.

Really enjoyed the ride, luckily I was with a local so he knew pretty much where we should be going. Riding nearly 100k with some great technical content was a great day out – something for everybody.
And piccies would be good, there were several photographers out there.

I’m sure next year will be even better 😀

I hired one for a couple of weeks from an outlet in Manly, where we were staying. No problems with traffic, if anything more polite than here. Manly Dam trail is a bit of fun , and there’s loads of bike only tracks all over the place. Get the train to the Blue Mountains.
