I had the same issue with my HV RP23 on my Mojo, it was going through the whole of the shock travel dropping off a curb and felt wallowy, I weigh 12ish stone..get a large spacer washer from mojo or TF and fit it yourself, instructions are on Mojo website

    Hi,
I’ve had the same problems with my 2012 rp23, bottoms out far too easily, sag is set up right and I’ve already paid tO have the BV tune increased from 175 to 225….still feels too spongy, I liked my 2010 RP23 but this one has never felt right….looking into a rock shox monarch rt3 or getting an older rp2…

I bought some superstar wheels about 6 months ago, they had tightened the spokes up so tight that the nipples were pulling through the rim holes and distorting the rim shape…..when I complained about them and sent them back I had to pay the return postage which was £12, superstar would only compensate me £6.50 postage which I had to send numerous emails to get paid…I found them a pain in the A to deal with and would rather chew my own fingers off that buy from them again…

The nanotech pedals are ok though…

Ok thanks guys, I’ll put some more pressure in later and have a ride up some hills to test it… It’s interesting to hear various people viewpoint on the subject

I’ve had the shock custom tuned for my Ibis Mojo, it’s set to Medium velocity, Medium Rebound and 225 boost valve tune.

    Cheers for your input guys

Hi Deanfbm, I can set the shock to fully open or Climb mode and the travel seems the same, I can have the shock set to climb mode (3) and drop off a curb and the shock will use the whole of its travel, exactly the same as if it is in fully Open mode…..surely this isn’t right?…I had a 2010 RP23 and putting the shock on 3 meant a very firm platform for climbing..:.
Glen, please educate me as I feel I’ve got a defective product

Thanks guys, yeah I’ve set it up right, I could stiffen it up some more but it’s set-up according to FOX reccomendations. my main problem is there seems to be no difference in stiffness between the softest propedal setting and the hardest climb-mode setting. I can put weight on the bike on either setting and the shock goes through the same amount of travel??……

I can’t comment on the Hopes but I’ve had my XT’s a few months now and I’m very happy with them, Rose bikes were doing them dirt cheap a few months ago I found out just after I paid RRP for mine…d’oh!!
