I was looking at the Trabec, tried on a feature and really liked it but went for a Limar X-ride in green. It’s a great lid.

BTW I’ve got most of my bike covered under my home insurance… It’s with Santander and costs about £18 a month for £2500 of bike cover in or outside my flat. They paid out in a week too!!

I feel your pain after losing 2 nice bikes last year. Yours is a thing I beauty mate, I hope you get it back and find out who came into your house and do them an injury.

I also agree with Wrecker, as much as im happy with my CDT if I was looking for another shock I’d be going for a RS Monarch

Its not a total lockout, I was watching it the other day when I was climbing with it set to climb, it was going through about 5-10mm travel and I was mashing in a high gear for testing purposes.

My CDT replaced a 2010 RP23….it does everything better, I don’t know how much research you’ve done into the CDT but it has 3 modes (Climb, Descend and Trail) which you can flick between depending on what your riding. i had a 2012 RP23 which I was never happy with previosly but this one is brill!!

I wouldn’t personally spend 200+ on a 7 year old shock, I’d sell it and put the money towards a CDT.

Everyone loves shiny new bike-bling don’t they….that MUST be something everyone can agree on!’

For me it’s Kabooom citrus degreaser, seems less effective than soapy water?!!

Yep I agree with GrahamS, seems to me there’s isn’t a decent, lightweight way to secure a bike while your out and about.

After losing 2 bikes last year my current bike stays firmly attached to my wrist at all times. It’s a shame but it seems anything with any value gets robbed if its left alone for 5 mins.

I agree with fuzzywuzzy about the USE post, I had one a carbon one a while ago and it was shit!!

Nobody buys anything for more than theyre prepared to pay for it and nobody let’s anything go for much mess than they’re willing to accept. I dont see it makes much difference what happens in between. If you’ve missed a “bargain” on here ( as we all have!!) then that’s bad luck for you unfortunately.

Bland- I’ve used topcashback in the past, I’m still waiting for £12 after spending nearly £500 at CRC…not worth the hassle in my opinion!!

I had a 2010 and a 2011 AMR5900….both were very good, so good they both got nicked. CRC are doing the 2011 5900 for £1400 which is a bargain!!

I agree with rocketman….another advantage of using Evans is when the staff don’t know the difference between 2011 and 2012 stuff and pricematch 2011 stuff….BIG savings!!

I had an 800 but found It frustrating so sold it for a satmap. I prefer the satmap but that’s only for navigation, it won’t do cadence, HRM ect….

Before you start paying plumbers to come In try finding the previously mentioned tee and gently tap that section of pipe, if your lucky you’ll hear the water flowing down the cold feed to the heating system afterwards…

Good news but people like that deserve a slap, he’ll probably get a £50 fine and a tag to wear. Hopefully not though. I wish I could’ve caught the people who stole my 2010 Ghost 5900….And then my 2011 Ghost 5900!!!….*sobs*

The Norco is nice looking but the Mojo is a thing of beauty in my opinion. Its quite rare to see another one aswell which is a bonus!…the Norcos will be everywhere in a few months

Yeah it is more fun, it feels like a better fit for me too…I’m 6ft and ride a L….like a few others have said the Norco is getting good reviews and is well specced, you’d have £500 to upgrade the wheelset too!

I prefer the Mojo for all sorts of reasons (some quite shallow!) but it’s all about your personal preference.

I had a 514 zesty 2011, spotted an ex-demo pesto Mojo and sold the zesty ASAP to get it. Very happy I did!!
