I notice HUNT do 2 different sets of 4 season wheels.  One specific to gravel CX.  The other I guess are more arro road wheels coming in at 100g lighter.

I’m considering these wheels for running 28mm 4 season tyres for mainly road use and light gravel/tow path  use.  I’m around 85kg.

would I see any difference in the wheels above – best go for the lightest?

Or or am I better spending a little more and getting some hope rs4 on DT Swiss rr411 dB??

curently running fulcrum racing sport which came with my genesis Datum- I’m guessing again the above options would be good upgrade??

I’m using the 40 something mm sks full mudguards on the stock tyres. 32mm. I wouldn’t go any smaller with the mudguards.  These wouldn’t look to Big with the 28mm contis I plan to use.  Happy to send a pic if that helps.

Looks like hope hubs is the way to go. I probably need to do a bit more research and get some made up. I probably need to look at the best rim option to. It’s a minefeild.

Fulcrums sound disposable. Use untill they go and then upgrade.

Would DT Swiss r23’s be better than the stock fulcrums I have. My mate has a spare pair

Usinging curently as a winter road trainer with mudguards and will use for 40/50 mile spins .

Could do the odd sportive on it during the summer if weather is changable .

It’s got the 32mm stock tyres on but will probably look at 28mm more road tyres for spring summer

Will brobably run the fulcrums through the winters and upgrade in spring. Can you upgrade the bearings or seals on them?

6ft with a inside leg between 31-32” medium is spot on for reference.

Have decided on the 30 2018 model. I’ve had a good deal from my LBS. love the green finish. Sadle and tyres will go onto it from another bike. Will probably stick with the fulcrums untill the weather improves and ride them under some mudguards for now. 4 season hunts will follow in the spring o r i here good thing about hope hubs wheels.

I’m 6ft with a 31” inside leg. I like a reasonable standover clearance. What do you guys think? S or M?

How do you guys find the standover clearance?

Any recommendations on mudguards?

Are the fulcrum wheels much better than the wheels on the 10 and 20?
