    LeBron James
    LeBron James
He’s a supremely gifted athlete with natural talent, and an extremely high basketball intelligence. But he also works very hard and sets a good example in that way.
He does a lot for charities, he created a school for at risk students in the area where he grew up.

…which in this instance would probably only apply if Fat Luke had a reasonable expectation that the fridge would contain poisoned sandwiches.
Stealing the sandwich was Fat Luke assuming the risk of being caught, not being poisoned.

So if the sandwich had a post-it on top, reading “Do not eat, unsafe”. Then it becomes Fat Lukes problem?
Assuming he ate it, choosing to ignore the note, thinking it was a bluff.

It was left as a trap, and clearly bait.
If they had added some ridiculously spicy sauce to the sandwich, they could claim that they intended to eat it. But essentially making it poisonous, is not something they were willing to eat.
Yes fat Luke shouldn’t have eaten it, but unfortunately that’s not the point here.

Sounds like someone who’s very unsafe on the roads, and needs a reality check.

Better a reality check from the Police, than by seriously injuring or killing someone.

We live opposite a primary school, with an en-bloc garage on the same side as the school and have road parking, no driveway.
Generally it’s not much of a problem because we’re gone before school and back after. When my partner used to work nights occasionally she would get back at school drop off time with no spaces available. Which is frustrating but part of it. The fact that we live in a small village and the most anyone would have to walk is 10 mins, 90% would be less than 5 mins, that’s what’s annoying.
But nights when something is on, such as plays around Christmas were the worst, people thinking its fine to park in front of the garages while watching the plays.

Nespresso do a subscription which seems like a good deal to me. Obviously over a year it costs you more than the £100 budget, but you’ve getting coffee included in that. Comes down to how often it will be used really.
This is the site for it

The Wood Norton in Evesham is a great hotel. Amazing food as well.
The website is probably best to book through, they do good deals on there.

Definitely make it clear that all money is going straight to charity.
Bake sale is a good idea, gives other people in the office a chance to get involved.

I can see why you would want to get back together with her. So I’d suggest starting slow, even go back as far as dating, get to know each other again. Don’t jump straight back in to where you were before.

    Age discrimination.
Yeah, best wait til you waste your time going for an interview for that.

Yeah, if they are going to discriminate based on age, then it will happen either way. They will just use a different reason why the interview was unsuccessful.

while I admire the engineering and build in that Roller, there is no possible way I could be convinced to own one, even given I had the means to afford it without a care.
I think that Aston would look betterer in a darker colour, that lime green did it no favours at all.
Like the look of that Fiesta ST, though…😬

If I had the money to be driven around in it, then I don’t think there would be a nicer car to be in the back of. Probably in one colour though, more understated, slightly…

I am offended that someone was offended by her attire. I’d have expressed my dissatisfaction with the original person taking offence. She was on a flight to a sunny holiday.
Jeans in business class will be next. It’s a slippery slope.

Most chart music does seem to sit in the middle of the road, not pushing anyway strongly towards a genre. The majority of it could be described as inoffensive and in my opinion bland. It’s popular though…

So if you change it to no longer being anonymous, does that just mean you become available for contact?
So if someone want’s to find you they can. They won’t be contacted, it’s more about giving them the option. Nobody will suddenly find out that they are the product of sperm donation.

As is escapology and eating anything they can get their paws on.
There’s an old joke ‘what do you call a man, walking by himself, carrying a dog’s lead? – a beagle owner’
    Good luck!
( To be honest I’m sure they’ll be terrific )

I was given the following advice from a Beagle Owner

If you ever get a pair of Beagles, pick a favourite out of the two, because at some point they will both run off and in opposite directions. So you need to know which to chase

A friend of mine is wondering if he will still be able to access P**nhub without a government issued masturbation license?

I don’t look forward to the test to acquire the license.

Not Netflix but Amazon, they have all 8(?) seasons of Parks and Recreation, which if you are looking for something light in these somewhat dark days is just about perfect.

I back this up entirely, I would recommend skipping the first season though. Start at Season 2, it has a different feel and is simply much better. It also gets better as it goes on.

Umbrella Academy is a great series, superheroes with some dark humour as well. Has a Coen brothers feel. Already been signed up for a second series.

I commute in to central Cambridge from a village, the journey is about 20 miles each way. Luckily it is on the Guided Bus route, so traffic isn’t a large issue. It costs me £25 for a weeks ticket. I rarely use it at the weekend, so it’s essentially £5 a day. The petrol would cost me more than that. Not to mention that I would be sat in traffic nearly all the way. Where as I now sit on a bus and watch films/TV, listen to music or read a book.

But if my job wasn’t central in the city (or on the bus route) I would have to drive, unless it was possible to bike. I’m lucky in that way.

I enjoyed it, obviously nowhere near as good as ‘I’m Alan Partridge’ but that would be almost impossible.

I’m kind of glad they didn’t try and do a new series of ‘I’m Alan Partridge’, it was perfect as it was.

Based on what I’ve seen people who have transitioned from female to male after puberty have a physical advantage, which is unfair in sports such as running, cycling etc. Nobody gets hurt, but what about contact sports such as boxing?

Flew over my house today (we own an ex-RAF house), unfortunately I was at work. I did get the following as a message from my partner

That aeroplane just flew over nearly pooped myself

So it was a loud one

I feel like I may be somewhere on the end of the spectrum, I see some of the traits in my self.
I would be worried about my girlfriends response if I were to be tested, and it was realised I was autistic to some degree. She wouldn’t be negative, but I think it would make her worry unnecessarily. She would probably become a bit over protective in a way, it’s just in her nature, especially as she is a nurse.
People that have been officially diagnosed, did it change anything for you? or just lead to a new level of understanding yourself?

I saw Parkway Drive and Killswitch Engage at Alexandra Palace last Saturday, that was a good night, great venue as well.
Got tickets for Rammstein in Milton Keynes, in July. That should be a good show.
Nothing else planned yet, keeping an eye out though.

I usually take the renewal offer as an insult, so I go off and buy with someone else before phoning to cancel. While cancelling I usually point out that if they had not given a ridiculous offer initially then I would have stayed with them.
The only reasonable one I’ve had was from M&S, I still found better elsewhere. But when I phoned to cancel, they couldn’t lower it, as they had offered their best already.

As mentioned above ASOS do a tall range with quite a bit in it. Also Nike do a tall range, so that would include joggers and hoodies.

Is it worth it? Its not like we all have accidents every day is it – although I get it is IF an accident happens.

It’s the same as insurance to me (yes I know insurance is a legal requirement), I hope I’ll never have to refer to it, but if I do I’ll be glad I’ve got it.

Personally if I was presenting a roadmap/strategy, I would take a hand out just to help them visualise it.

On the other side of the table I would also see it as a positive, and something that could make the difference between two close contestants.

I can’t see it being a negative thing, being prepared.

It’s gripping and fascinating the way it changed the sport, the way it meant other players could play and what the enforcers sacrificed for a career in hockey.
