If the driver wasn’t insure (sounds pretty unlikely that they were) check out https://www.mib.org.uk/making-a-claim/claiming-against-an-uninsured-driver/ for some information.

If they were insured then the no win no fee is probably the best way to go, you’ll get compensation for the injury, and the costs you’ve incurred will be repaid (time off work, medical expenses (e.g. off the shelf paracetamol, transport. child care etc.)

L’Oreal stuff is good and not too expensive. I use the energetic wash/scrub/moisturizer and the beard club oil.
checkout fashionbeans.com for their grooming tips

Their beard shampoo is very good as well, this combined with the oil I mentioned earlier have meant that I’ve not had any dry skin issues

I’ve not considered making my own, although that is an interesting idea. But I can recommend this one on amazon good price for 100ml, works well and smells nice.

Do like the idea of the backlight game – but maybe only on departure!

Spotting stuff would be easy, the game is finding the weiredst / most acrobatic place for a stain

Get a black light, then you can see and get to play a new game.
Or night vision goggles then you can pretend to be spec ops.

[Devil’s Advocate Mode] Then she’d stand no chance of winning & she’s not a man [/Devil’s Advocate Mode]

If I recall correctly then before transitioning they did compete as male, and were mediocre at best.

Thanks for the link to the shark watching trips, precutduck, I’ll suggest it but Mrs Pondo suffers from sea sickness, so might not be a goer.

In regards to the sea sickness it’s not too bad, very calm water usually. I wen ta few years back with my parents. My dad gets sea sick usually, but with a standard over the counter anti-seasick type tablet he was fine on it, and it’s open so plenty of fresh air.

I don’t even understand the product lineup any more, it was so simple.
I had assumed that the 4 series was a way to make things a bit clearer. E.g. 3 series was 5 doors, 4 series was 3 doors. But no, there are 5 door 4 series and all sorts. so much must overlap or have very minor differences it makes no sense to me.

That damn orange and teal thing has got in to my head! I kept noticing it in Joker, amazing film but loves some orange and teal.

No pics yet, but recently cleaned the throttle body on my car, and changed the front O2 sensor. Turns out that a bolt that had been air gunned on to the manifold, then left for 10 years, is a challenge to remove. Damn satisfying when complete though.

Depends how basic you want to go, higher pentreath campsite is close to the beach. I’ve not stayed there but saw how close it was.

I went to them for an MOT about 7 or 8 years ago, they had one of those service + MOT deals that was a bargain.
Had a couple of issues which were to be expected, but they also gave me a long list of advisories. Including a “collapsed” rear N/S suspension. The fact that the car was sitting completely level with suggested to me that this was a lie.
I’ve still got the same car, and been to a trusted local garage since, the advisories have never been mentioned since. Haven’t trusted the idiots since.
I know other people that have had similar issues at different local kwik fits. In fact my dad has a company lease car so has to use Kwik fit for tyres, and they were awful, took absolutely ages to change them. Worse for managing appointments than a doctors surgery.

Possibly, but there are a few lower-end cars that have them these days (such as Aygos and Yarises (Yarii)?

Sounds like a job for a Dacia to me

A couple of my go to general questions are:
    – How long have you worked at _____? And what do you enjoy about the it?
    – Where do you see the company / team / department (use as appropriate for interviewer position) going over the next 5 years?

I find they show interest in the long term, and wanting to be part of the team.

    Good luck

I use google photos. It’s not too bad for organising past photos, but it’s great at managing any new ones you take, if you use your phone that is.
After a trip it will group them together in a folder for you, e.g. “Weekend in Bath”. Also has a search function so you can search bike, cat, dog etc and get all those pictures at once.

    Preacher has just started again.

That is great news, I enjoyed the previous seasons.

Rick and Morty, Brooklyn 99 and GLOW are all good for when you don’t want to concentrate massively.
Stranger things is very enjoyable, so I’d recommend that.
If you want to concentrate on something then Ozark, and Dark are good.
Dark is a German missing person thriller involving time travel, it is very good, but you need to be on the all and paying attention.

I always thought sparkley dark purple would be nice. And don’t put the decals back on, leave it as a mystery machine but those who know will know.

Go for the ultimate purple, with Midnight Purple used by Nissan on the Skyline R34

And I’ll soon be asking for advice on how to stop Claude meowing outside the bedroom door during the night . . .

In our experience with a standard tabby, the best way to stop the meowing is to open the door.
She will occasionally appear in the middle of the night, meow a couple of times and demand fuss though.

Is it not the same as getting your tonsils or appendix removed unnecessarily?
Yes something could go wrong and require the surgery, but otherwise it’s just an unnecessary risk.

Tesco delivery van would be great if you were 3.5 ft tall
Do not under estimate the importance of being able to stand.

The sprinters used by Sainsburys and a few other brands, have more space. I used to drive for them, and I’m 6’5. I can’t recall if I could stand, or had to bend slightly, but if I did bend it wasn’t much. The vans with a back door, not the side loading options.
Also you can drive them on a standard license.

    Hyundai i40 premium?
Loads of space, good fuel economy, low tax, heated seats, cooled front seats, panoramic roof. Worth a look I’d say.
    This sort of one

Yetis have tiny boots. Never had a proper look at a CX5 but they’re supposed to be good. If space is important would an estate not make more sense than an SUV?

You would get a very nice Mazda 6 for the budget

My advice would be to stick to two pages, but put the job history on the second page. They will want to know it anyway, but focus on your skills and qualities on the first page.

Around my way the financed 1 Series, and A180 are bad. But the worst is the white Audi A1 financed by a nail technician who is paying zero attention to the road, it’s just who the car attracts.

I felt the way they handled the sensitive situation was great. It would have been easy not to show the piece at all, but the Ghurkas worked hard, and deserved to be shown. The end was especially fitting.

It was a few years back now, getting towards 10, but my car broke down. I smartly had no breakdown cover, so I give the AA a call, They wanted some ridiculous amount for the years membership (I know! It’s prime supply and demand, so they can charge what they want).
Instead I went on their website on my phone, and purchased membership for almost a third of the price they quoted on the phone, and had a driver with my just as quickly.
I’m sure they’ve realised this now, unless they still prey on the people that panic and phone.

Yes, do this. The direction they will take varies, but it’s entertaining.
    Generally 3 responses:

    – Hyper, jumping around, playing etc.
    – no effect

I can only reiterate what has been mentioned above, but avoid the proper Fens! Particularly the towns such as Wisbech, Ramsey and Chatteris.
I live between Huntingdon and St.Ives, I like it. There are all the amenities I need and good access to Cambridge etc. Obviously not good for mountain biking, but that’s a given.
If I was moving here, with the reason of a family member living in Cambridge, I would start by looking for somewhere on the guided bus route. The map is here.
If nothing was suitable, I would expand out in to the triangle you get from Cambridge-St.Neots-Huntingdon. Then look up at the villages between Huntingdon and Peterborough.
