My twopence worth  40k not a Cali but a decent conversion  (Hillside),e been tweeked along the way solar panels and recent roof bars on the pop top. My only vehicle and its now paid for, had it 5 years. I,m located in the Lakes and I can say I,ve probably been out in it every other weekend pre covid from just parking up in a pub carpark to staying in some great campsites that you would struggle to get anything else on due to it size. Great for 3 people  but as its been said its like a military operation to pack and unpack if your the outdoorsy type.Had some amazing holidays in it and looking forward to more  planning on keeping for at least 10 years until I need something a bit more bigger due to my age :-)

It was a great way to finish a great ‘race’

It was dream build when I lived in the Midlands but moving to the Lakes meant its outings got very rare, when I do ride it its still great to ride. Not a big issue if I don’t sell as I am quite attached but would prefer that it found a new home and I would like a Ti gravel Bike ;-)

About 50% at work in delivery office, weak management does not enforce in cramped conditions , I start late so most of the office has left by the time I start I use a buff . Most van shares have finished  we have at least 10 people off in an office of 60  off due to various sickness/covid. Managers don’t seem to put 2 and 2 together

Its manic at work! even Kendal which is quite rural is experiencing very heavy workloads with rounds going our every other day on normal items, tracked /signiture go out every day!

Royal  Mail has failed to get enough vans, pdas for the extra staff we have taken on they also run a Covid secure workplace so if you working in a very old building like we do its a nightmare  with social distancing.

I rarely work OT but 17 hours worked last week the same this week probably working my day off as I know they will not cover my day off and I will get hammered when I come in.

Most customers understand the issues and staff hate to see mail fail so work over and beyond their contracted hours.

First ride out today and it was a blast the grips need to go as  had to resort to wearing GLOVES!!! fairly spicy conditions lots of slippy rock but it seem to go where I WANTED :-)

No room for a bigger tyre than a 2.6 IMHO

In the process of building up a Ti Signal taken me a year to buy after borrowing one for a week. It was as capable as my 27.5 Evol full suspension, I,m building up with beefy tyres  29er 2.8 front 2.6 rear and an SLX groups so not really worried about the weight.

Rich just waiting fro a rear tyre and dropper post to complete the build
