Reached Laggan at 14.30 and decided to miss the path over to Ft Augustus due to lack of appetite to hit another pass so decided to roadie it to Fort William which was a cracking spin to a very posh Hostel at Glen Nevis!

Crisp clear ride to Glen Coe which was superb over devils staircase was testing some bike packing bags for Aguille and they passed with flying colours the front bar bag doubling as a rucksack on the bits you have to push up

Yes Martin still from Staveley a more direct route missing out Grasmere and a few other favourite BWs. Still 100 miles with those wanting to do a shorter 50 route turning at Coniston.

TJ has made me very guilty I only had 1 and a half pints today after my ride but then again I had to ride over Red Bank offroad to get to the van did not want to puke it up would be a waste. Seriously I am a stick to the speed limits man, never tail gate, don’t smoke weed never owned an Audi!!! please don’t think bad of me as a serial drink driver  I ride hard and the occasional drink at the end of a ride (probably most rides) I like a beer its just me but I can seriously say I have never driven a vehicle in which I felt impaired and  most probably!! under the limit.

Sorry If Ive gone down in a lot of peoples estimation but just being hones

I hired a bike out to a lady who had asked for a basket on the front she turned up and was pleased with the basket she placed  a cushion in it sat the dog on it and attached the lead to the handle bars! She set off and approaching the first gate she grabbed a handful of front brake dog fell out dangling by its neck twas quite funny she came back after riding 40 yards
