Learnt nowt yet I have had a demo on one but it came with skinny tyres with little grip in the wet and no dropper and I punctured 3 times it was pissing it down on the afternoon I had it for. Rode like my whyte and felt ok size wise. The bike seem well stiff and the suspension seem to work well

Black eyed Friday does that not happen al over the country? Restaurants in town are pretty thin on the ground but as above loads of country pubs doing good food , ate at the BLACK LABRADOR  recently and it was fab.

around 5% of the town is flood risk. If you ride bikes you will make friends thriving cycle club with rides for everyone, town is probably 30% offcomers so we are slowly taking over :-)

Hardly ever drink at home maybe the odd glass of red with the right food, outside of the house I struggle to ride past one every ride I can remember has finished with a beer. Think I hold the most pints downed on the HT550 :-)

Kendal Mountain Festival this weekend so I will be bladdered all weekend!

    Cheers

Normal zips for toughness  so as you would expect the waterproof quality is minimal they did mention something about giving it as an option if people really wanted it. I was not that bothered as most of the gear that goes in there is ok with dampness!

Only had 3 trips on them so far robust bags like the front bag as it has straps on so you can use it for hike a bike taking the load off the front when wrestling  the bike over boulders/bogs and long pushes up. The rear pack might not be to everyone tastes because of the two straps connecting to the rear stays but it secures it well and keeps sway down to a minimum. Frame bag has nice touches like a map/phone pocket inside has straps to secure things like tent poles pumps/poles

High turnover is do to  a lot of people use it as a stop gap for another job,not realising how hard it can be ,piss poor management that only focus on what the computer says !

Mr Smith obviously not very good with the Christmas tips then :-) How about talking to the Postie !!

Aye job is not job and knock anymore! well not in my office as they collapse duties when people call in sick or someone gets suspended and you have to take out extra if your prepped really early. Posties are beginning to do the job as required come in on time not an hour early and  taking breaks as required. I start at 9.40am and finish @ 6pm so I miss all the bitchin in the morning :-)

Would i recommend to a friend probably just don’t expect and easy time in your first 6 months until the next people roll through the doors as there is a high turnaround of staff. Workload is effecting my riding I only get out once in a while :-)
