Its the route from 2019 as this years loop was one big loop gives you a chance to enjoy the weekend if you miss a loop off!

There are at least 6 riders doing this years route as they live Penrith way and are staying at the Bikefest on route they rest are doing the 2019 below!

Just built this up taken me 4 months to get the parts I needed at reasonable prices  last 3 bikes have been frame only options I find it more cost affective and more satisfying does help when your daughter works in the trade :-)

I popped into Bob Scotts Bothy last week after doing the inner loop of the CL, was surprised to see sleeping bags and other gear left in there obviously to save their space for another night which I think is quite tight. Obviously running the risk of people helping themselves as its quite a popular track. Was the same at the Bothy at the top end of Loch Muick gear left inside.

Spent last week In Ballater Aboyne  and Pitlochry  riding the trails  they’re all superb but it was mighty dry :-)

Heartbreak Ridge was great would have liked to have done a double loop but other riding friends were not that keen :-)

We are FULL look elsewhere :-)

In the renting game at the minute myself and prices are pretty daft Kendal is a good choice even the pub selection is getting better Staveley is ace but houses go in days and there is not a lot about. I,m just playing the waiting game and moving to Scotland in 3 years when my daughter goes to university!

Yes details will be out shortly 200kms, riders start from 6pm Friday night will involve 2 nights out. Route will be on the grim side so will appeal to the type 2 type of rider.
