    Indeed, I was not being too serious.
    They are a good thing but at the moment I have no desire to ride one, maybe one day, who knows 😊

    Possibly a little of both, the tape originally may have had a sticky back which would have held it in place and it is good to wind the tape onto the bars with a reasonable amount of tension.

    Tape removal is the easiest unfortunately, can be done with guidance from a small flat screwdriver but is fiddly and some luck required.

    I have just put a set of float RL 140's on a new build and am running them with 55 pounds pressure, then again I only weigh 63kg, getting 120mm travel without extreme use with about 30mm of sag.
