    Originality not their strong point

Actually they havent done anything like this since the first two albums of a 14 album career. They have been a pretty original band for a genre defining group.

Talking of Guiness. Bought Aaron a pint of it back in this club in Halifax years ago. Was it called Fat Freddies ????

new album is meant to be more varied. some gruff vocals and clean singing as well. apparently according to the guitarist this is the slowest song they have ever done.

    Another new one.

    mix of vocal styles

tried to post a proper video link but didnt work. Tell you what though. They had a couple of albums a few years back that were meant to be depeche mode esk. So to be going to back to this vocal style is a massive difference from then.

Me. But registered online, then got a letter from York council few days later saying all I need to do next is turn up and vote. Knowing York council they have probably dropped a clanger.

Was bought some Daves insanity sauce a number of years back as part of my Christmas present. Was hot back then. Think its got hotter over the years. Played a blinder on my lass. Made her a fried egg sarnie with brown sauce. Couple of bites in she had to go upstairs for something. So I whipped out the Daves with the intention of adding one drop. Dolloped about 1 teaspoon on by accident. Arrrgghhhh this is going to be funny. She came back and ate the whole sandwich without letting on. I was trying hard to hold back the tears of laughter. Afterwards she said she didnt want to give me the pleasure of watching her mouth burn. It was brutal by all accounts.

Thinly sliced mushrooms cooked in olive oil. Then add granules and stock/water. Reduce to required gloopiness. Splash of balsamic vinegar or red wine is nice.

Smorgasbord and chunky monkey here. Both running as tubeless and hold air on Stans crests’ exceedingly well.

Had a saloon for a few months with the non drop down rear seat. Totally bobbins at getting bikes in. Could manage my road bike with both wheels off. Mountain bike, fagedaboutit. Would have been a roof bar, rack solution. Do have some BMW 1/3 series compatible feet and bars surplus now as driving STW car of choice 😆

Not an 80s hoddle mullet but more like couple of inches all over apart from 3-4 inches at the back. Blonde an all.

I think for the price (looking at the M540’s) if they did fail I wouldnt care about the warranty. Just buy a new pair and you get new cleats.

Was thinking of getting some spuds for my winter bike today. So spooky timing of post.

M540’s on wiggle etc totally new for £25.99.

Or used on ebay for more

Never changed em myself as well. More like a what if scenario. Never happened yet though. Im from an engineering background so just prefer the tool free method really.

Dont go hoping you can get the 1/4 pound veggie burgers. They’ve stopped doing them. The Porlus household BBQ will never be the same.

I do have a FS and want to like it but for one reason or another end up feeling frustrated by it. Perhaps it’s just me, perhaps it’s that particular bike or maybe I have never ridden it enough to get the set up right.

I wonder if they are perceived as a nirvana moment, but in reality they are a little bit better.

You’re clearly not aware of the joy that is the Peanut Butter Lion Bar

And the peanut butter chunky kit kat. Damn that was immense.

Wonder if front forks are like that as well. Maintenance intervals on my sektors are insane. Measured in hours instead of months. Had em installed now for about 3 years. All I do is keep them clean and lube the tops of the stanchions’ and compress. They are running as good as the day they were first installed.

Yup enjoy what you have. That’s the ticket. Think the C456 is a pretty capable bike for most stuff. Only negative is its fatiguing on rough terrain. Whereas my mates say they love how smooth the rear is now.
The four guys I ride with. One got back into mountain biking after a long lay off. Two others got new jobs so treat themselves to something nice. The last one his partner came into some money so bought him a super record equipped colnago and a trek ex8. He hasn’t clicked with the trek at all. He was the one who chickened out of the steep descent. And regularly complains it doesn’t climb as well as his old hardtail.

Well my c456 performed well at stainburn at weekend. Managed a tricky steep descent no problem (one from Norwood edge forest to the road). Mate on his trek whatever chickened out and took the easy way down. Was pretty chuffed hehe.

Celery spread with peanut butter would be a good one. Peanut butter in your draw, celery in the fridge (if you have one). Quite partial to this at the moment 😀

Chunky monkey, smorgasbord combo for me. Pretty happy with them. Hold air quite well. As in, pumped em up start of the year and they are still rideable. Nice and grippy as well.

Offer still open for York lot (or anyone else) to meet at Kepwick for our 22 mile ride. Its May the 10th. 8:45 at sutton bank visitors centre then drive onto Kepwick.
Neighbour grabbed me who rides. Hes starting his season next week and asked me to tag along on his easy Terrington ride. Going next Wednesday after work. Not sure what the start time is or you could have joined us.
