    Aye, egg banjo.

Had one that bit back the other day. Minor hangover at work, so got one from the canteen. Eggs were super soft. Not good when I have a beard. Twas messy.

A lot depends on the shape of your arse. Like I mentioned earlier the Italian ones suit me best (although Campag ones were bad). Got some of the howies 3/4 bibs as mentioned loads of times. They are ok, but not a snug fit in the pad area.

I tend to get on well with the Italian brands. Got some cheap Giordana silver lines. Really comfy. Got some santini with the yellow pad, cant remember the name. Again really comfy. Tried craft and others and find they don’t fit as well in the pad area.

Knock and run here in York.
Used to love garden hoping. Had an epic route that had around 10+ garden’s and exited by a different street you entered.

Yup. Tried different skewers. Was ok when I first got it. Fancied a new frame anyhow hehe.

Bloke at work is strava this kudos that. Tend to switch off.
Think I’m anti tech on a bike though. Both road and mtbs have no computer or gps device. Just get on them and ride.

Probably going to strip it tomorrow I think. Weathers meant to be ok, so nice little job to do with a few beers.

Thought I was going to get a freebie of a Rega Bias 2 cartridge. Mate of mine just got a Rega Rp3 turntable with an upgrade to the Elys 2 cartridge. Old cartridge was wrapped up in bubblewrap by the shop. He said I may as well have it. I was giddy as wanted to buy one of these anyhow. Opened it up and the blooming box was empty.

Cheers for the responses folks. Been away from a decent internet connection for a few days. Looking the Bfe at the moment for me. Just need to get the means of paying for the frame sharpish as dont want it to sell out.
Looking at sizings for these. Most people seem to go a size down. Normally i’m a medium frame bike. My C456 is 16″ and im 5`8″. Looks like I would be a small Bfe.

Funny you should mention Kia 4×4 jobbies. Noticed a few round here driven by total bell ends with no regard for other road users. No indication, pulling out and generally get out of my way attitude.

It is. My forks are non tapered so if I did get the bfe would need suitable bearings

Just handed notice in myself. Think if they offered me more money to stay I would turn it down out of sheer principle. Should have offered a token increase in July instead of the usual “company not performing, so next pay review in January” letter.
Go for the new job fella. Might evolve into something great over time.

Love this move. Say if im turning left at a junction and have had someone tailgating me for a while I tend to make the turning mind numbingly slow.

Bit of an update on this.

Handed my noticed in, boss talked me out of it promising massive payrise when the company starts making money.
Fast forward to pay review this July. Letter states company not making money at the moment, but showing signs of potential blah blah blah, looking for another review in January.

Boss grabbed me thanking me for the work I have done since January, told him im pretty hacked off as a rise was promised. He said I will be the first one to get sorted out as soon as the company can do it.

Had a chance conversation with an ex employee. Ended with an interview for a permanent role, not in my skill remit. Interview went super well. But didnt get the job. I didnt let it rest, and have now secured a 6 month contract thats doubling my monthly take home pay. Intention is the try and get me upto speed and see about offering me a staff job.

Over the moon is an understatment. Current boss said its not sunk in yet.

That’s good to know about the pink. It’s 50/50 on one of these or the Norco alloy sight 7.0 from Evans. Rather give my cash to my lbs as they looked after me when I got my kinesis aithein.

Its a tiny bit longer this year. Same angles I think.
Weirdly the pink, I mean magenta is starting to appeal to me. Really like the overall spec. The only thing im not sure on are the brakes. They’ve gone for TRP Slate 4 cylinders.

Anyone remember the cops coming to school and giving the talk on dont play on railway lines. The video they showed was well gruesome at that age.

Estates aren’t actually great for bikes however big they are, a really big one might take a bike whole without taking wheels off, but not many will – a Octavia certainly won’t

Must be dreaming when I get my bike in the back of my hatchback octavia withought having to take the front wheel off then.

If its similar size to a 1 series you will have to take the front wheel off with the seats down. For comparison my C456 fits in the back of my mk3 Octavia estate with wheels attached and back seats down.

Meant to say HATCH. Estate would be even better.

I had lots of trouble installing the latest windows 10 nvidia drivers. Kept getting a failure on the driver install section (physx etc went ok).

Solution I found that worked was to uninstall every nvidia program from my pc using windows installer. Then to browse to the Nvidia folder in my c: drive and delete it. Then re-download and install the drivers as admin. Worked perfectly.

Those plastic square clips you used to get with loaves of bread. Used to be in awe of mates who had both brake cables totally covered by them.
