Rega rp3 connected to a Rotel RA-10 for me. The rotel has a fantastic phone stage that really does justice to the rega. Weak link at the moment are my speakers. Wharfedale diamond 9.1s. Headphones are lower prices grado sr80s which blow the wharfedales away sonically.

Was going to mention Rotel. I’ve recently purchased a new Rotel RA10 rrp £350. Might be over budget but it sounds fantastic. Punches way above its weight for the price. Quick look on the auction site and you can easily get an older model Rotel ie an RA01 for within a £200 budget. Also theres always the older NAD amps. 3020 was a bit of a classic back in the day.

Could you get a lead long enough to go into the garage from the denon ?
What connections are in the back of the “lepy”. RCA to 3.5mm male connection should work I guess.

Would a wifi extender be an option, or is your internet connection flaky most of the time.

What phone is it. If its a smartphone can you not install Tunein Radio. Has DAB stations via internet and loads more.

Bought a Bardiani jersey a couple of years back. Its actually not bad. Material feels like a full price jersey (ie, perforated fabric). Fit is ok as well. Would get another. Tried some shorts by they were a bad fit for me. To be honest I have had some bad fitting shorts from Craft and Campagnolo as well, so might be ok for you.

Another Beresford Caimain DAC here. Its a cracking bit of kit. Mines been replaced by the Bushmaster MKII and Caiman MKII. Both meant to be fantastic.

Would definatley look into Haxby instead of Wheldrake. Wheldrake is nice enough but seems to be lacking in amenities.
We live in the next village to Haxby (Strensall). Its nice but is lacking in shops, so tend to have to drive to Monks Cross for food (local Costcutter is ok though).
Haxby is great. More like a mini town. Good number of pubs and places to eat. Co-op and a Sainsburys and around 5 coffee shops. Plus that side of York is the best for a road ride into the Howardian Hills or NY moors.

Bloke opposite me eats with his mouth open, the noise (and smell) isn’t good

Used to work with someone that did this on a dinner time. Had a weird technique of eating and talking at the same time that enabled the smell to shoot out in your face if he was stood talking to you. He did it once with a mouth full of raw mackerel. Tried to avoid talking to him after that.

And he had sticky farts as well. He could drop one and the guff would still be there a couple of hours later.

Nooooooo the guy at who talks with food in has mouth has started doing this as well. Slurp slurp slurp ting ting ting and still talks to you with a mouth full of milk and cereal.
