Not a problem on the headphone amp. Would love it if the Capella looked like that one. But its only £159 so no valves.

Check out the Beresford Capella headphone amp. Its meant to be really good for the money. I’ve got one of his DAC’s (MK1 Caiman) and its a superstar.

Katatonia are worth checking out. New album is a corker.
Volbeat good as well. 80’s thrash meets Johnny Cash/Elvis.

Halloumi is really nice marinated in spices, fried then used in a curry. Makes a great alternative to paneer.

55 mile lumpy road ride today. Got home and had warmed up pea, feta and mint frittata and a glass of strawberry yazoo :-)

Couple of roads round here where its really easy to extend the suspension on.
Selby to Snaith main road, the bridge into Snaith is mental. Not sure if its been altered now, but you had to go over it really slow. Road between Ulleskelf and the turning to Tadcaster has a bump in it that you have to be careful about.

Cheers for that. Grabbed a pair lastnight.
Bloke at work has the pad in a pair of DHB shorts and says they are really comfy.

Only been drinking in Sheffield a couple of times, but really like the Fat Cat by Kelham Island. Great range of beers for a small bar. Super cheap no frills pub grub as well.

Been looking at the Shimano AM5s myself. Look pretty decent in the green colour.

As said by others, your pre ride meal is protein heavy. You need carbs pre ride and protein post ride.
Couple of slices of bergen bread toasted with peanut butter and sliced bananas can see me good for a 40 mile road ride. Tend not to eat on the ride and just drink.

Just got a Lezyne Mini Gps for my road bike. Pretty good price, can be had for £70.
Works good for my road bike as I generally know where im going. But for mountain biking might not be any good for you as you cant follow a route.

A thought. If you didn’t line the treads up exactly, could it cause a wobble as they bit into the dirt at different intervals ?

Bloke at work was going to go this afternoon (we finish work at 12:30 based in York). Drove there, saw the massive wait to get in, turned round and came home lol.

Just lent my bottle of Daves to a bloke at work who wants to prank his brother. Should find out the results later this morning haha.

Was looking at where it lies in the scoville scale. Its 180,000 apparently. Blairs did one that was a limited run that came in at 16,000,000 for a 1ml container full. Cost a flipping fortune.

My mum did mine once years ago. Went to play a record and needle was 90 degrees to where it should have been. Must have done it when cleading the room. She denied it of course grrrrrr.

Zokes, have you not got the little plastic cap that goes over the end of the cartridge.

But….there is talk of Microsoft stopping them

Think the next plan is for a Surface phone from Microsoft with other manufactures making windows 10 phones. Already a few about to get released from Acer and HP etc.

Saw him in York once. He was the guy introducing the 3 main acts. Blew them all off stage. Very funny bloke.

Old gate has a great beer choice. White lion, nice enough inside with a small choice of well kept beer.
If you want a well earned pint then the white lion in Heptonstall is well worth the short walk haha.

Not when it turns up warped and gritty it’s not. Damn you , Clutch.

Have you got Psychic Warfare on vinyl. I got it on blue vinyl and first song (x-ray visions) after affidavit doesnt sound that good compared to the mp3 version i’ve got.

How much do you want to spend. I got a Beresford branded TC-750LC for about £40. But can be had from ebay, its a generic model I think. Had it plugged into my old Arcam amp with rega rp1 and sounded great. Got a new amp with a great phono stage now, so it was obsoleted. Oh and managed to sneek an RP3 into the house too at the same time.
Rega do a preamp as well. Fono MM is meant to be good. But its around £200

Make sure you do your sums properly. Some lower % rate deals with a£995 or £1495 fee are actually more expensive over the period of fix/deal than a fee free with a higher %
    Happy hunting

We did this. Was cheaper over the term to go for a fee saver mortgage by around £700.

Just done this myself and got Arcam Musos mentioned above. Tiny when compared to my Wharfedale Diamond 9.1’s.
Sound quality is fantastic. Not as bassy as the Wharfedales but work incredibly well in my small room. Build quality is super solid infact its a heavy speaker for its diddy size.

First time buyer here with the missus. Mortgage taken out two years ago with a 5% deposit on fixed rate for two years on a 30 year term. 28 left if we left as is.
In the process of remortgaging with another provider. Equity in the house is that good after two years (village outside York is a mini bubble according to folk) we are able to drop it to 17 years with an affordable increase in the monthly payment.

Drink it a fair bit. Like the Tick Tock one and the one that comes in the red box. Tried Tetley red bush and it was horrible.
