PJH is brilliant, what about Melissa Auf Der Maur?

Global knives are easily the most common brand of knife in professional kitchens.

That told me! I thought Global recommended against using them to crush garlic etc. with the flat of the knife though?

ive never had the fluid seal a puncture in 5 years of using tubeless. I use it when I first fit the tyres to seal the inside of the sidewalls but I dont bother after that.

Are you serious? What happens if you get a puncture on a ride then?

on what surface and in which conditions?

On anything but thick mud, in anythign but snow, ice and downpour, i.e. most surfaces, most of the time.

If I had to be more specific, i’d say hardpack to soft soil, gravel, not a great deal of rock.

    Looks like DHF is winning.

Global are overpriced, but look nice. I wouldn’t buy another. I don’t think you’d ever see a Global in a professional kitchen (could be wrong though).

My point is that if you are moving at a constant rate on flat ground, the mass of the wheel will make no difference whatsoever as to how easy it is to turn. F=ma.

a 29″ weighs more it is will be harder to turn

Harder to accelerate or decelerate, you mean.

I guess i’m a happy medium sort of person. I genuinely don’t think i’d be happy with a very expensive car. All that expense, effort, man hours and resources, just for a slightly more pleasant driving experience. I’d die of lefty guilt. 😥

One good thing about running is that it’s often easier/less hassle to go for a 20-40 minute run and knacker yourself out, rather than a 2hr bike ride and all the preparation involved. Especially when it’s raining/been raining.

If anyone wants a picture of my thighs, just ask. You might be lucky and get a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ too.

Good advice, thanks. Not my choice iDave, i’m afraid. Paris sounds lovely in principle, but I imagine it would be very expensive to drink.

Earplugs. Or else whilst he is away change every sound on his computer to the orgasm from when Harry met Sally.

they are a lot lot better to ride especially on long days in the saddle.

Not always, some carbon frames are designed to be extremely stiff.

Nice film, worth seeing. More of a fairy tale/fable than your typical film. Not heavy on dialogue but more so on visuals and atmosphere.

There’s a bit of a conspiracy theory going on that the whole thing is a Murdoch engineered stunt to get rid of Gray, who has been making moves toward suing the News of The World regarding the phone tapping scandal.

Apparently Keys has cited ‘Dark forces at work’ regarding the leak (Google), and in at least one interview referred to the phone tapping scandal.

I don’t think they are produced with longevity in mind. They’re OK if you want to keep your herb a bit longer than you would expect for a packet, maybe a week or so, but not really suited to being kept as plants.

Anyway, I often find that the basil in packets (i.e not in a pot) has a better flavour. The plants are usually flimsy and weak.

I tried Trailrakers and they are brilliant in deep mud, but slow and sketchy on anything hard.

I’ve not tried em, but many people claim Bonty Mud-X are nearly as good in mud as Trailrakers but a lot better everywhere else.

If I was buying again i’d get Mud-X.

“These are activities that are goal orientated and challenging enough to absorb all your attention such that, when engaged in them, you cease to notice the passage of time.”

So that guy in Catch 22 was right. If you want to live a (perceived) long life, get bored and stay bored.
