If you want a large there’s a Spot honey badger on the classifieds- can run ss and gears and even belt drive- being sold by one of the Slovenian singlespeed crew

Unless you’ve got no room I would buy a cheap road bike for the commute and keep the trance – by the time you’ve bought and sold again you will have sent a few hundred quid anyway

Anyone over 6 ft should only be allowed to ride 29 ers to avoid looking silly

yes I think size definitely is a killer- I saw one forum that recommended seriously bubblewrapping and then just using cardboard pieces as a skin to reduce the size but that sounds too risky to me

What do you mean by enduro- if a spesh camber carbon expert 29er fits the bill check my profile for a great specimen I’ve got for sale- it’s definiteley an enduro colour in Kawasaki green and black!

I may have a goldtec pro hub front wheel for sale if I split my pegasus project- never ridden – it’s on a crest rim in 29er flavour- substantial saving to be had although you would need to change gibbons as its qr- email in profile
