Shame on you smuzzy- that 575 was looking really nice when you were building it up!
Saying that I am using my ss inbred alot more than the geared ti456 I got from you at the moment- alot less cleaning required!

I think they have improved the offer quite a bit recently- a guy at work always goes there.
We are going to Slovenia as its first time for my wife and kids so didnt want to spend a huge amount- 1 week self catering around £2.5k week before half term in Feb.

40 miles each way on the M6 into Birmingham- on average 1.5 hours each way- been doing it for 15 years -starting to get a bid fed up!
Sometimes bike 13 miles to station and 35min train ride but needs alot of organisation

    Ti456- general do all bike
    Inbred ss- winter hack
Merida road bike- commute (rare) and turbo
Felt sector – bmx- when I want to keep my lad company down the race track (although I never see him cos I'm too slow!)

Did have full sus but 456 covers all of that for me with less maintenance required.

I had one for a short while (after wanting one for a long time) and was disappointed tbh. Main niggle was very low bottom bracket whereby I lost confidence riding anything rooty or undulating as pedals kept on catching
Might have been the rear shock not being quite right- I didnt keep long enough to experiment as went to a ti456 which I am getting on with a lot better.
Then again I am a fat knacker so this wont have helped.

Just fitted some for the first time as I need to get in my car after riding and I have beige leather seats- the alternative is getting your nob out on the car park to change into clean clothes
I must admit I think they look ok- white ones on a black frame- not that it matters obvously

Mongoose are also ok and have a bit of street cred (or so my 13 yr old lad says)
Best to try Alans bmx or winstanleys bmx for deals

Saying that I got my son a cromo X rated from Halfrauds and took the stickers off and he is uprating the bits to suit himself

Big bloke- is Molly a GSP- weve got a 18 month one- great dogs if a little highly strung- that pose is exactly the one mine is in next to me now- and he keeps stretching his stupidly long legs out and nearly knocking the laptop off my knee!

It's a tough call- we were saved last year in that our old staffie/collie cross had a sudden heart attack at home but really grateful that he came into the lounge so that we were with him when he passed away.
End of the day you will know when the time is I'm sure- won't make it any easier though!

Think will stick with the last 3 for 2010 – plus my cheap roadbike.

Sorry can't help im running revs- the headtube is quite small on on-ones though so if I understand your comments correctly some additional height wouldn't be a bad thing. I am just about to put a stem on mine with a slight rise to bring the bars up a smidge.

Just built up mine – 2 rides in very happy- feels very light and loads of mud clearance. Only thing I need to get used to again after a few years of full sus pampering is back end slips if weight too far forward on the ups.

I think bike weight is a factor in that the child has to be able to move the bike around under him/her. My son is 12 and his friends all commented that his was easier to do tricks on.

My advice would be get a cromo frame not hi ten as there is a big weight difference.

Count me in also- got it Monday after slating the kids about feeling ill because they had been to bed too late, not drunk enough fluid etc etc!!
Worst was I was due to take 3 clients to the races with no option but to get some immodium down me and man up!
How happy was I that the lunch laid on was a seafood platter! Saying that I won £60 so cant be all bad.
