i did notice the 44 rc3 on bike radar fork test. i didnt take much notice of them, prob because its not a brand name and ive never heard of them before. i have googled them and the only bad thing some one did mention was the brake mount was not faced well and caused sqweel?

but a 3 year warrenty and no service req’d if good. i wouldnt say they are ‘heavy’, its 200g more than revs rct3, i could eat a few chocolate bars and put that on in no time. you guys may have changed my mind now

already done this when i serviced them last time. i did make an improvement but this still feel harsh

thanks for the help, i spoke to loco and he said maybe the revs would be better suited, they are cheaper and req less maintance, the fox is slightly better performance wise

how are the revs with small bumps, my talas feel plush just pushing down on them. they do well on rough stuff but small bumps, roots etc they seems like they are stiff?

so not worth the £80 for 1 degree slackner?

its an early one, not sure on year, its got the newer chainstay which had made the rear feel stiffer. i think you cant fit the slackner headset to the older frames?

i had 2 sets of elixir R. they are light, have good power. a pain to bleed. i used them for a week but no matter how good i set them up i couldnt stop them from sounding like a turkey when braking, only the rear on both sets. if you google you will find alot of people have this issue. i sold both sets, now have shimano deore m525 and hope tech x2 which are both very good, i do prefer the cheap deore to the expensive hopes

has anyone tried the new 2013 forks with CTD-ADJ. guessing these are different to fit dampers? are they still small bump sensitive? will they work ok with a rp23 what does not have CTD-ADJ, just normal pro pedal

tf tuned has these, anyone used these before?

does fox still have issues with seals? would i be better off with some rockshox, dont wanna spend £750 on some forks that will be worn out in a few years due to poor seals

mine did the same, i pulled out the adaptors on the sides and greased them as there was dry and the seals sqeeled, same as yours, only slow speed on the stand

dont wanna hi jack your thread, seems pointless opening another as i have the same issue, brakes bellow, they have no markings on the calipers at all so not sure what they are. please ignore the horse

im waiting for a reply from hope but what i see on the net is the matchmakers dont fit the 2012 shifters. dont you need to remove the windows for matchmakers? (ive never used them so just a guess)

i have been moving the lock on grips out on my current bars, i went to 720mm and they felt better, then 750mm and they felt much more comfortable. i have yet to ride with this yet and im still on a 90mm stem which will get changed to a 70mm. going to get some havocs, if i dont like it in the end you can easily chop a bit off the ends

what is the advantage of 10 speed, im guessing better gear ratios for climbing etc?
will they fit on the free hub on my hope pro 2 which im now using with a 9 speed cassette?

have been recomended answer ones also, been looking at these. wouldnt mind the carbon ones but slightly out of my price range, guessing the only differance is the weight and they are slightly stronger?

i didnt service mine for a few years, changed all the seals and added some float fluid and its been fine, was like new inside still. the seal kit comes with the sag o ring, an o ring at the top of the threads on the body, a dust boot, 2 main air seals and 4 plastic white shims, i had a large o ring left over what i had no idea were it went
