Never heard of anybody having an issue with slippery brake levers, put sticky back velcro on them and your fingers. 😉

Thanks for all the advice, I’ve got the structural engineer sorted (family), I’m more than capable of doing the majority of the work and have access to a trade account at my local timber merchant, which should keep the cost down a bit on materials. I’ll just have to get a sparky and a plasterer in if all goes well!

You’d think they’d taken mine out with a spoon, “very nasty” apparently. Might have been the brandy and peanuts that sent mine over the edge, I went a funny colour though, so if it is your appendix it’ll be fairly f’ckin obvious, you won’t be comfortable in any position.
