6’1″ here with an 18″ frame, the most comfortable MTB I’ve had…

Toying the idea of selling though due to becoming slightly more obsessed with road riding for some unknown reason!!

I have a set on my ss commuter, unless you have narrow shoulders I wouldn’t trim them down, they are the most comfortable bars I’ve had. I had a cheap set of Raleigh North Road bars flipped but there’s too much rise (fall) on them, they’re nothing like Mary bars, the only other bars I’ve found similar are here the VO Milan, slightly shorter than Mary Bars but not as good.

£1480 all in for me with Hetas cert, fitted in a two storey terrace in a day, and that was a year and a half ago. The Wife just commented the other day that it’s the best thing we’ve done to the house.

My brother’s working there at the moment installing all the pipe work for a new production line so they can make even more of the lovely gelatinous chewy delights!!

a little known fact is that decking is SHITE

Go with the scaffold planks, even lollypop sticks last longer than decking! 🙂

The wheels might have a tendancy to bend and buckle, what with them being so much bigger, as I was informed the other weekend at Dalby, so be careful… 😯

Drop yer seat first, so if you have to bail you don’t catch yer nads and just roll down em nice and steady with a fair bit of rear brake and butt clenching. Second time down you might not do quite as much butt clenching.

    29er or trainer wheels?

I’m using a Dell Precision M6400 at work for 3D CAD and graphics, does a great job, it’s got a 17″ screen, not much colour distortion and it’s very solid. I think they’re doing an M6500 now and M4500 (15″).

Had a tricycle when i was 2ish and then it just sort of evolved, raleigh boxer, Striker, Arena, Burner, DP Freestyler, a really bad Townsend MTB, Pulsar, Pusuit which I still have as my singlespeed commute now and many many more…

Penderyn is awful compared to some of the real whisky described above.

Really it is vile, good for unblocking drains.

My bottle was most agreeable, maybe all the bile in your mouth soured the taste…

SS road bike is reasonably clean.
SS Inbred 29er is absolutely filthy, will knock excess dirt off before next outing.

Why would the gay couple have a swastika tattoo? They wouldn’t be nazis! Homosexuals were persecuted in nazi germany.

    The Oldest Known Symbol
The swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for over 3,000 years. (That even predates the ancient Egyptian symbol, the Ankh!) Artifacts such as pottery and coins from ancient Troy show that the swastika was a commonly used symbol as far back as 1000 BC.

But I doubt the Daily Mail cartoonist is aware of this.

I’m 6’1″ 34″ leg and have a 20″ Inbred, with inline seatpost and it’s about spot on, just feels quite big. I’d get an 18″ if I were you.

Wales is a big place. Whereabouts?

Yes I realise that, we are prepared to travel, I’ve only ever worked in Wales through the week then back home at weekends, so I haven’t had time to fully enjoy what Wales has to offer, so anywhere coastal really, the wife and son like the beach and then we’ll see what happens, we like exploring!

    Nice 😉

Just building up a 26 ss after discounting a 29er based on previous experience.

What previous experience, I’m thinking of getting rid of my 69er ss in favour of a full blown 29er…

I’ve got my 20″ Inbred set up with 26″ rear, Salsa CroMoto 29er forks A-C 468mm and a 29″ front wheel and it handles fine for me. But I’m defo gonna go full on 29er as soon as I can.
