Caster is not trans though.  They are  XY 5-ARD.  So have a lot of the effects of testosterone, but internal male gametes and  have  atypical genitalia.  Caster’s issue is a whole different ball game.

my sairis H3 can do up to 20% incline and it very quiet.  I use it when the family are in bed sometimes.  For training I use garmin connect and I also upload to intervals.icu.

The wahoo magic roads is a pretty cool features.  You can also have a 2 week trial without having to put in card details.  Wahoo also have a load of free stuff you can use including the 2 fitness tests.

Saris H3 and I don’t recommend Zwift.  Wahoo system for me.

Forget about sag apart from the initial set up of your fork.  set it to 25% and go from there.  You don’t have to measure it everytime you change air pressure.  I would leave your compression all open on that damper.  increasing it just increases the harshness of the fork.  You can get a basic LSC setting from doing a kerb test.

we really need a service like camel camel camel that tracks the price of CRC/wiggle items to see how much the price is actually changing.

It would appear that the 3 jobs I’ve had in my life can’t actually be done by anyone.

    Research scientist
    online shopper in sainsburys
    Teacher

1 and 3 require training and a few other things. 2 requires common sense and a certain level of intelligence that I didn’t see in everyone that worked in the department (they eventually got moved).

5:4 (1:0.9) ratio of glucose to fructose. And some fruit flavour, bit of salt and gelatine to make your very own SIS beta fuel chews.

Bit of MTB for a change. Did some off piste at Glentress. Thunderstruck; huntsman; careless whisper; Jail Break/skull duggery and EWS fort to finish it off.

    Same crank length
    same shifters
slightly narrower bars (better for aero TBF)
Stem is 10mm shorter at 90mm which is probably better suited to you anyway
    saddle the same

Cycle to work paused on CRC/Wiggle. will be back towards the end of the year. I’d be looking else where if you want a bike the now. Going to struggle to get anything near the spec of the vitus for the money.

    Why not an alu bike?

There isn’t actually any difference between the two. shame about the cyclescheme.

@darstadlydick you looking for a small? I was tempted by this before I bought my ribble as it was cheaper and didn’t care about getting carbon over alu.

I went from similar wheels to aero ones. mine are Prime Primavera with 23 internal 30mm external and a 56mm deep rim. I’d go wider than 19mm unless you are using narrow 23mm tyres.

I don’t think I spend enough time on the flat to make aero worthwhile

remember than you have to take into account the head wind as well. Aero wheels will make a difference.

See what your current wheels weigh then decide what to do.

how much do your current wheels actually weigh?

    my bike was £1200

as a slow unfit overweight rider I have noticed that deep section wheels did feel liked the helped especially in head winds. Even if they don’t they look cool. I had lightish shallow rims before 1580g 28mm deep now have 56mm deep 1620g wheels.

like above what is your budget.

Given up watching most MTB YT channels now. Tend to only watch now when I’m researching what trials to ride. Hardly make any videos now either as I can’t be arsed.

Only subscribed to friends channels now for MTB vids. When I was buying my road bike I found some vids useful as I knew nothing about road bikes.

I still “use” it but purely for PRs on certain road segments. I can see if I’m actually getting fitter in the real world.

I I use garmin connect to record my rides. It syncs with strava.

full on **** gear tonight- nice to be able to ride in t-shirt and shorts. Ride into paisley then through Glasgow. Meet a lovely celtic supporter who called me a dirty hun and kicked my bike because my riding top was blue.

22 miles; ave power 202w; loads of PRs – getting fitter.
