Thanks for the replies . I have not been at work today and hopfully by the time I get back next week one of her colleagues will have talked some sense into her. I know she has childcare during her working hours. It’s just her mindset that if they are asleep nothing can happen. I offered to pay for a taxi home but she got all defensive and said we were worrying over nothing.

I was planning on speaking to her outside of work. I appreciate it is not work related and because I am her boss I did not say much to her yesterday and left it to the others. I have thought about calling social services but would be uncomfortable doing so. As a parent I also feel uncomfortable doing nothing.

When I had really bad toothache I used a combo of paracetamol & ibuprofen which can be taken at the same time. Also used bonjela and clove oil although I was told to only put clove oil on the tooth not the gums. Clove oil helped with the pain more than anything else.

I am a twin and as children we usually ended up with the same presents. We had both asked for tents one year and when my brother unwrapped a tent I knew I would have the same. There must have been a packing error in the factory though because inside my tent box was a Wendy house. It got swapped a few days later but I cam still remember being gutted.

I usually just buy aldi or decathlon gear. I hate the fit of their cycling shorts and bibs though so stick with dhb. I could not warrant assos prices as I am rarely on the bike for more than 2 hours at a time.

I have found then warm enough commuting the last few days. They have shrunk quite a bit though whereas my endura merino socks have not shrunk despite numerous washes.

I think a lot of pensioners shop on Saturday because they always have. I don’t mind as i shop in the week (most supermarkets are now open 24 hours and i can find better things to do at the weekend).

What annoys me is shoppers who spend ages in a queue and then have to fish around in their gigantic handbags to find their purse when told the amount. Do they not realize they have to pay?
