I have the 90l split – very good it is too – takes a months worth of kit easily including laptop and suit and entertainment. its become my take everywhere bag even though I have to check it in at airports.

I think a 65l would be more than enough for a weekend if you're not a tart

Battery life?

For my money the normal inbred rides much better than the 456 or SS, I'm sad to see it go but I guess it has changed a few times over the years anyway.

I will be giving my 853 breds a quick fondle next time I see them

Both excellent but you will need a cheap ($100) version of sony vegas and a decent computer to edit the panasonic

Hero cam helmet mountable to with included kit

Both solid state and not bad on batteries

16 gig card gives about 6 hours on thr Panasonic at worst resolution – this is still extremely good though
