I only have one knife – use it for everything except cutting bread – cost about $200 canadian but its a thing of beauty beyond its purpose

Recently cycling along a back street in Ambleside a guy jumped left into my path swearing about what a **** I was.

It was a bit weird but assumed he’d had a bad experience with mountain bikers previously

Also I cycle which ever way I choose whether it be on the road, pavement, footpaths, lanes – never had an issue – always pay attention to foot traffic and smile and say hello when necessary :D

this is the guitarist that no one has ever heard of but plays on more records than you can comprehend

    Always ask

    Have helped a few people

Have always been asked when I’m fixing a puncture or something

Have been helped a few times with chain repairs even though I can do it myself – often helps to have another pair of hands I find

With respect to gone fishin’s view – I would say every musician needs a metronome as ‘part’ of their practice regime. Otherwise you’ll end up with the timing of a drummer

I say get a cheap drum machine rather than a metronome though – it’ll be more useful in the long term

7 is in my top 3 films I was gutted – not even 1080p on blue ray

Probably one of the most beautifully shot films ever.

I recommend the 2 disc dvd for alll the extras which is fascinating if you like the film.

Given that I’m not a fan and don’t own any of their albums but having seen them twice.

I think i’d be prepared to concede they are the best band in the world

    Weird but true

I did a tour with the extra wheel trailer – for all the reasons I written down previously it was a shit solution to the trailer problem – proof would be they no longer make the original style

My panniers have just arrived today :-)

I’d say anything you can take an XC bike on you can ride a CX but less fast on the harder bits and fester on the road bits

    OP

I’m a guy – I have both my nipples pierced and though I originally had them done from an aesthetic point of view I can state from experience its is completely sexually arousing (for me).

I love girls with pierced nipples – again a personal view – from experience their (the girls) arousal is significantly enhanced.

    The best £40 I’ve ever spent :-)

I’m currently running a Tech21 TM30 and a Blackstar HT-5 – various guitars but basically US Les Paul, US Strat and US Tele

I would say the Blackstar is a really fine amp for the money, it does need to be pushed to get it sounding sparkly and I find that level is neighbour unfriendly (it is pretty awesome though) The headphone output sounds completely crap to me

I’m looking to try the Blackstar HT-1 which should be out soon and possibly offers the elusive ‘tube sound’ at a reasonable level.

As I’ve said before on here I think the Tech21 TM30 is a really under rated amp and in my eyes indispensible for me – so much so I have 2

Recent nice things I’ve invested in are a Parker PM20 guitar and Line 6 M9 both of which have proved very good toys
