loving the PGM – F holes to the max

As a different perspective – I saw in Canada the amount of time, money and effort the parent put into their kids

The kids are amazingly well behaved in general but suprisingly stupid for all the effort involved

I’m not sure what the answer is but I applaud Jamie for making the effort he does – whether paid or not

no, the kids were all knobs, not disfunctional, just knobs

Starkey was wrong in saying what he said but I’d have walked out on the class after 2 minutes

I’ve used canadian affairs many time to get to Calgary – return wsas £350 at Christmas but I can be very flexible with dates so that helps

I have recently started as a volunteer bike ride guide helperist thingy for the local council

yesterdays ride stats were 10 miles – flat canal both ways – ave 3.4 mph with no mechanicals or punctures

however it was brilliant seeing how the other half cycle and what great joy it brings them, most can’t even afford a bike so are loaned some via the scheme

I did it once – worked really well all round – they saw what I did because everyone was lost when I left, I got paid more – everyone was happy

I had my wrist broken by another mountain user – he was a skier but I don’t think that makes him a bad person and I make no issue of it – he was just out of control which can happen to anyone

If you want clear piste then Canadian rockies is the place for you other than Louise

I’ve done the world cup run – pretty dull as I recall – but I was an indifferent boarder thrn – doing 70 on a set of skis would probably make it mind boggling

Enjoyed the area and I liked the pace much more than say St Anton

I bivvied a lot which was great but I did notice most towns have a municipal camp site (tourist info is good too for finding out where it is but there are often ample signs) that is cheap and often very nice too – I’d do that if I was going again

I’ve ridden stuff in the lakes on my old uncle john and my current kona sutra – no real issue other than its a bit jangly
