There appear to be more citys in the world that have hosted the olympic thasn that there famous london

    Except it’s nowhere near London

is this course near london? I don’t think I’d like to walk it.

Many of the sports featured in the olympics are nowhere near the host city

    certainly looks tame to me

I would have voted for HTN 2 hour course as a less expensive and more betterized alternative

I’m sure Terrahawk would have given his approval for half the budget that this course cost.

Thast said I’m not sure why XC is an olympic sport anyway. It seems a mile away from the pass time I enjoy

    USA fender telecaster elite

youtube moment to help you help me

    plumber
    Free Member

    Per my original post

    its an elite telecaster

there is nothing standard or even near enough pick up wise to go in it other than single coils that would look a bit silly in the odd sized routing

Selling as part seems a good idea though – I’ll look into that – thanks TK

normal sized buckers wont fit – I fancy trying a sustainiac system in it though

or maybe les paul style mini humbuckers

    plumber

nope – thats why I still have it after all these years

I really want to like it and for it to be a usable guitar

even if I sold it and had the money theres nothing I need to buy right now or in the forseeable future

    Squamish

Stop at that bike shop for map book

    set off

    ride fire roads

    think this is shit

steep climb to top of ridge with that there canadian foresty stuff on it

    start descent – fantastic

    get to bottom

lost expensive sunglasses but don’t care it was brilliant

    join walking trial up hill

pass posh old english chicks talking bollocks

start fire road climb to start of next trail

    goes on a bit

pass old sawmill in canadian foresty bit

    get to top

    try to find trail start

ask german tourist who have no clue either

decide small path must be it

    set off

broken mini north shore indicates yes it is the trail but not in use

shitting it cos I’m on my own

    start descent proper

    madness steep

trail comes within 2m off 1000 feet drop cliff face

    trail disappears

shit myself cos I think I’m lost

    find trail again

map indicates about to rejoin easier trail

fly down last piece of uber tech trail

    join easier trail

    film jump over log

goes pear shaped and land on my head whilst breaking seat post bolt

ride the rest of the trail standing up

5 miles later go to nearest garage for bike bottle of cold coke

    Did you know

A chameleon’s tongue is twice the length of its body.

A woodpecker can peck twenty times a second.

A cow gives nearly 200,000 glasses of milk in her lifetime.

Dolphins sleep with one eye open!

A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out.

A cat’s jaw cannot move sideways.

An ostrich’s eye is bigger than its brain.

All polar bears are left handed.

    Ants don’t sleep.

Dragonflies can fly at up to 30 mph.

Flamingos are not naturally pink. They get their color from their food.

Bats always turn left when exiting a cave.

The muzzle of a lion is like a fingerprint. No two lions have the same pattern of whiskers.

Between the park at Ramsbottom and comes out at summerseat

go from carpark at the park – near rangers hut

down the lane with big rocky banks to left hand side

    over bridge

continue up past house on right through the trees

look left and on to footpath

down and up steepish bit for 100m

next footpath is all cobbles until you end up in summerseat

Or I could just show you

    Also

    for the masachistic

walmsley old road (past pub on left where the Nangreaves sign is)up to Nangreaves (lord ragley pub?) – is bumpity bump cobbles for a long way then tarmac than more cobbles – this is a fair incline in parts and a good test up and down

    Good luck either way

I would also say that addition of more grippy tyres turned mine into a do it all mountain bike lite type of machine

I’ve done Iron Keld on it – not mega comfortable TBH but I rode it all and its still in one piece

also good for shopping trips to tescos (provide your own shoes :-) )

Don’t think it would work at Drummers – even though its one of my favouritest trails it wouldn’t translate to a cam – I have a cam and wouldn’t use it at drummers

    to answer your question

    1 – I know many that do

2 – anything, go pro has the best attachement system currently in my view

3 – you could film quite a lot with a 16 gig card but the batteries would probably fail first

    4 – see above

I could see more value in the nature programme cams that work off movement

set up one/multiple at an approiate point/s

pick up cards end of each week – pt on youtoob with an id code

put up sign near start of trail telling people they can view themselves via YT like at alton tower rides

    distribute via email

not sure how you would be with the law on this sort of thing?

    just a thought
