Everyone drives around in those sort of trucks over there

They were our standard company car and there were no licence issue for anyone.

As a new rider in London I have seen all manner of RLJ and riding on pavements

Now 3 weeks in I RLJ – where I deem it ok to do so (where there is absolutely nothing around) and ride pavements – only on Sundays though as Elf

Its been quite a learning experience and somewhat baffling to witness the amount of cyclists around generally and that in fact they are well behaved – though I have noted that most seem blissfully happy not to look around all the time and continue as if everyone else will grant them safe passage

True in Nelson you need to pedal up first – but I found much encouragement from the bears – I thought I was tired until I saw them :-)

in 2008 around benilux countries I spent around £10 a day

That was bivvying and food – no beers – just ate what my body told me too and I was always full.

I was prepared to spend a lot more and had facility to but just didn’t need it

I saw a ‘town’ mountain bike in the boardman range in Halfords yesterday – that would tick my box in many ways

    carbon forks/slicks/2×10

my inbred is in much the same mode for town riding currently

Go to St Paul’s, walk across the Milennium Bridge and spend an hour or two in the Tate Modern (and pay particular attention to the Giacomettis). Bliss.

did that weekend before last – was good though :-)

Having witnessed at first hand the bollocks that flies in a certain biking club I was a member of I’d say have a web site that might suggest that parties might be riding at the same time in vaguely the same place and that should do it

I’d be really interested to know if the whippet has inbred 853 geometry from a few years ago or is more scandal like as seems to be the case from the website.

it’d be a definate buy if the former was the case

Sometimes they take it down, sometimes they mute, sometime they leave it

seems to centre around who owns the music – I found BMG to particularly eager to mute material
