what’s happening to on one now though? will it just be run by planet-x? and new bikes designed by others?

edit: bah, i’m an idiot and don’t look at dates on news articles…

    You’ve all got it wrong.

Brant’s discovered that the paint he uses on the On-Ones is so tough that there is no need to have a steel frame under it.

have you ever owned an on-one? i think the only downfall of them is the very easy to chip paint!

no sleeping bag (when racing solo) – thereby making dropping out for a kip less appealing []

    that is hardcore.

technically it’s illegal to take your own waste home/to the recycling bins from the office as you’re not a licenced waste carrier…

yeah, i think a couple of weeks indoors will do them good. have already ordered a bfo ground anchor and hardened welded chain.

So, what about deal or no deal, when they get offered the swap at the end? there were 22 boxes, he’s stuck with it all the way until there is just his box and one other. would it be better to swap?

It’s a nice idea, but one that would only work if there were 21 boxes with (let’s say) £1 in them and 1 box with £250,000. In which case if you were left with two boxes at the end and one was still the £250k box then you’d be an idiot not to switch as you’d have a 95% probability of winning the big prize by switching.

If you’re interested in coffee you need to check out this site and this site. A blog and shop done by a former world barista champion that i know. His top piece advice is only buy freshly roasted beans and don’t expect them to last much more than 72hrs after roasting…

platelet donation takes longer than blood donation. basically they hook you up to a machine which takes blood out of you, separates the platelets out and then puts the blood (minus platelets) back into you. takes about an hour to an hour and a half to donate. you can donate more often (once a month rings a bell), but have to go to special centres to do it as the machinery is more difficult to move about i think.

It’s all just riding bikes. there’s internet forums about it and everything.

what i’m trying to say is why go to all the trouble of colour coordinating your bike to fit in with a particular popular image and then go and move away from that image by adding a pannier to it…

i think this is more your problem than theirs

oh, i don’t doubt it’s my problem at all.

just to point out i’ve got nothing wrong with people commuting to work on fixed wheel bikes, it’s more people who have fixed wheel bikes with too many chrome/neon parts and dildo bars who have obviously made an effort to make HHSBs who then wear lycra and hi vis clothing (note site wear not american apparel wear)

i think i’ve sorted it now. added a bit more oil (probably about 15ml over the recommended amount) and the lock out and rebound damping seem to work properly now. hopefully this shouldn’t be a problem. i worked out the volume by dipping the fork and making sure that the level of oil is the just below where the bottom of the motion control unit will sit. seems the oil was about 10mm lower before which might be the reason it didn’t work.
