Junkyard. That's a bit extreme! Truth be told my groom and everyone else would be happy just getting together in a decent pub and each others company. That's what planted the seed of something really unexpected. We'll probably end up doing archery or something.

Ou could argue stripper would 'only' get cash andis a bit degrading. But in this situation there is at least room for the evening ti get more interesting. We're nit bigotted people and the chaps that are on the books of these agencies must be happy about it, no?

Well, I'd hope after the initial surreal reveal, they'd both settle down and have a good nght out.

yes. derren brown (and others) explains the science behind it. I did it at uni and people dropped out until there was two of us and it kept going which doesn't make sense as you can push but not pull. it was pretty freaky.

yeah – i have an origon one – but the footage is really poor and it's difficult to know when it's recording and when it's not. also the nano can record 16 hours of video so you could leave it recording all day. the nano footage on youtube looks pretty good. i'd also use nike+.

I think the isolating (ear plugs) are totally overated. I've just bought senheiser ones for the iPhone and I've had some high end ones in the past. Unless you like hearing yourself chew, swallow, walk etc I'd steer clear.
This is totally unfashionable but I think the apple ones are alright. And I have Grados for comparison!

i have a large ht pro (in coventry if you're near) – love it. mainly because of the weight. badly set up but that's no surprise! just over 24lbs for £750 (i got an 08 for cheap)

Macs are still on 0 viruses (that'll do owt) and 0 trojans. People say there have been 23 viruses for macosx but i've never met anyone who's ever known anyone who's seen one. I think 0 is more likely at the moment.

    Around 100,000 viruses for windows.

The only real mac exploit involved physical contact with the machine!! usb stick.

    Unix is inherently more secure.

The only '5% so why bother' argument is a load of rubbish – it's a huge target, mainly because mac users go round saying they're so secure.

I wouldn't dispute that pjbarton. And the Beatles influence wasn't just musical – it was also in art, films, fashion, and even humour. But I much preferred the early Stones with their strong bluesie music, than the yeah, yeah, yeah, hair-shaking ouuuuu stuff.

a few good tracks early on, but rubber soul onwards for me. i think it's melodically where they stand out. as a (pretty average) song writer I can say creating original, memorable melodies is pretty tough – the hardest, most satisfying thing about song writing… and the beatles work is packed with it – that's what blows me away. that and a 7/8 signature

jeez – the stones clearly weren't in the same league as the beatles – creatively, i think only brian wilson was with them. everyone should listen to tomorrow never knows from the anthology – one of most incredible pieces of music ever recorded – makes you think 'ah, that's the chemical brothers ideas right there'

strange comments about logos – almost all their gear is close to un-branded. you might find 'howies' on a button but that's about it – occasionally a small embroidered logo. I think their merino stuff is near the top end quality wise – as a few have said, if you like it and can wait for the sales…

…or just buy a man-made base layer that works so much better than a soggy woolly jumper…

oh dear – never worn one then?!

it's probably not cool to say, but howies (expensive) ones are really nicely made, good fit, comfy.
embers are good and super friendly too – i have a nice lightweight one of theirs

what the sh•tting crikey is wrong with iTunes?

and the 'iPod's sound crap' remark is wrong and tired. swap the earbuds if you need although they're not as bad as people say.

why do most concept bikes attach the seat like that – do the designers not understand the rider needs to get on and off the bike? And hub-less wheels are obviously going to be subject to a lot of friction. and added weight too most likely.

t5 is basically the same length as my dad's mondeo estate – 10,20 mm in it. so it's smaller that you think.
it is nice to be able to wheel the bikes straight in.
