considering where you're riding you be nuts not to go for full sus. i really don't think full sus teaches bad habits, it's just different riding. faster downhill, especially places like the alps

so with imap your sent mail will appear in the sent folder of all your devices, send a pic from your pc at home, find it on your laptop or iphone when you're out n about. also a read mail will show up as read on everything. pretty smart compared to pop. takes up a bunch of space somewhere tho… in a cloud

mine are barely water resistant at all. worked a bit for a few weeks – but the water goes straight through now. alpkit weren't really interested in looking at them either. although their service is normally amazing to be fair.

yamaha – you'd have to double your outlay before you get a better guitar. ish, sort of.
    great value.

that's a bit picky jon1973 – people get used to all the scrolling/rotating capabilities on the macbook trackpads.
and then find that windows on whatever pc laptop can't do it. if it's a limitation of the os then 'windows laptop' is a fair description surely.

iTunes / apple players give the best variety / best complete ecosystem that works easily. you can rip all your cds and still buy from amazon if you'd prefer. you can also get the odd tv show or movie that will also be automatically stuck on your pod. simple.

loving my t5 kombi – great to drive. just bought some alloys from tyremen (good) having first tried to buy from DP-motorsport (very bad and have stole £700 from me- bastards)

anyway, love the t5. having some issues with the egr valve but for 112,000 miles it's going really well.

    perfect for any outdoor activities

Macs are cheaper. It's been successfully argued plenty of times. More outlay (although not much if you really compare like with like) and then they just keep working for 3 or 4 years without crashing, getting infected etc – no downtime.

Looks like Windows 7 has closed the gap aesthetically but I can't see the security being as strong as a Mac.

If your kids are creative, having Garageband and iMovie (as part of the initial cost) will be great for them.

The argument that no-one wants to write malware for MacOSX is such a load of rubbish. It's a huge target – mainly because of how secure everyone says it is – what trogan writing geek wouldn't want to infect it?!

i've got some gourmet stuff – a block, rock hard 100% cocoa – any strong high percentage stuff would work. you don't need loads in there. And cheap balsamic is ok for sauces – good for roasting red onions in too!

Did Dobbo just say get rid of Adam and Joe?!!! – literally the best thing on the whole of BBC. jeeze, what is the world coming to!?

Quite like George Lamb after a few listens – wasn't a fan on first listen. Quite interesting under a veneer of crassness, I guess a lot of people just heard all the crassness and never tried harder.

i'm going for one of these – love Lumix cameras. this is tough, waterproof and shoots HD – do some vimeo or youtube searches to see mbt footage!

i know you didn't ask for tough ones, i just thing it would be prudent – happy to let the kids mess with it also.

apple certainly tie things down a lot – my nieces couldn't believe I couldn't blutooth them a song from my iPhone – fair criticism – in bed with the record companies an' all that

'tat' maybe a little harsh, but the UI on all the touch screen LGs and HTCs that I've played with has been very poor. And the high spec'd cameras with poor lenses are disappointing. Obviously the camera is the iPhones weak point but I had a 5 megapixel Nokia that took worse pics.

There's a lot of anti apple, inverted snobbery based on fallacies like you can't listen to music while doing other things!

I find the google competition the most exciting – maybe have a look at the pre?

but tomzo, it's much cooler to slate apple stuff and tell everyone they're coffee shop posers who buy over priced gadgets purely for how they look. Then point out that your unusable Korean tat has an 8 megapixel camera and is therefore better than an iPhone.. blah, blah

Hero. The novel experience of being able to listen to music and do something else at the same time has to be seen to be believed.

do you REALLY think you can't do that with an iPhone???

or you could except that the nano is way ahead of the competition and sort your formats out?

surely all these images are better that the ones by the guys that set up at events like rough ride.?..
i'd start selling these if I were you you – i'd buy one! (of me).

could you set up a website with dates, locations and thumbnails on?

maybe hand out cards to riders you shoot?

    good work

isn't there a lot of suggestion that h1n1 "has been genetically-manufactured as a military biological warfare weapon." Man-made at least. ??

    2nd alpkit.
i got skyhigh which are cheap but a little bulky – the pipedreams look great and are a bit more compact i think.

no issues with cheap production so far – well sewn up!

thanks for all the responses guys n gals. i probably should just get a regular road bike but i'm a little contrary and these 'bents' really do get me going – i'm sketching them now instead of working!

MM – i'd really like to hear about it. My missus thinks i wouldn't use it as it looks daft. i'm not bothered about the sniggers! i'd like to ride to the peaks from Coventry which is about 85 miles. The low ones and the 3 wheelers concern me – but the mid height ones look alright i reckon.

    keep me updated! 😉

on the downside, i'm having an issue where the power drops right down (a restart fixes it) – not sure what that is, may be down my blanking off of the EGR filter (although I did it to fix that very issue – worked great for 6 months)

    any experts on here? thelittlesthobo?

i get about 40mpg on my 120,000 mile ex aa kombi T5 in sexy silver… well, silver.
great vehicle for any outdoor types – it's very liberating being able to throw a load of bikes (me and GF have 2 kids) even if you're not sure if you'll need them. We got a 12v fridge and we nip off and make sausage sandwiches in strange places.

All doable on other vehicles but we just seem to do more. Kids call it the adventurevan
