Can someone please take the nice little boys and girls from Dirt Bike Magazine and see them safely to school for some grammar lessons?

    Sure…

But first you should take some reading lessons because:

    1. Dirt bike magazine is for MX/enduro bikes, not mtb.
    2. Thats Wideopenmag, not Dirt.

    Jus' sayin' 😉

    Zaskar, read the article!!

"mismatch between what they had been taught and the content of the questions they found on the exam paper."

There were no past papers because it was the first year that spec had been used, there were specimen papers but there is a pretty big difference between knowing the information and being able to write it down in the way the exam board wants you to.

Also, I'm in my second year at uni, its no different from college in the revision aspect, loads of past papers to look at its just youre required to do some more work off your own back.

Happened to a mate and the coil had snapped. If you've got some 15wt oil about use it as an excuse to do a lowers service on your forks and have a peek inside. It will probably be obvious whats wrong.

When Im home I ride almost exclusively on footpaths. No ones ever mentioned anything to me, most are positively cheery in fact. No harm was caused by him, why even try to bring up the subject? just trying to be awkward/annoying?

    It was aluminium.

I still stand by King headsets though (and I have steel steerers 😛 So it probably wont affect me)

    Yes, headsets are worth it.

I have experienced some marking on steerers, however it does **** all to affect them, so will all you bumberclarts stop harking on about it.

So it would be ok if someone tore up your favourite bike trail on an motorbike "once in a blue moon"?

They do, infact its the MX enduro riders who created my favourite trails 😛

i wouldn't buy a car now without electric windows, air con, 3 year warranty, cd player, power steering, non-vinyl seats

    Equally not trolling 😉

    I drive a classic mini:

    No electric windows
    No air con
Possibly a 3 year warranty, but its over 30 years old now 😉
No radio, let alone CD player
    No power steering
And some VERY expensive cream vinyl bucket seats
    😀

Oh, and Im building up a rigid SS as we speak.

OP's lever placement is how it should be for one finger braking, I'd argue that the levers are pointing down too much though 😉 Should be inline with your arms (or thereabouts) but of course, if its what you find comfortable….

    😀

    amateur looking welding

Talking of which, had a look on an apollo the other day, looks like a pigeons shat along the joints 😀 I think the weldings alright on Oranges, afterall, doesnt matter what it looks like so long as it holds!

Swingarm on the heckler looks more halfords like to me, still a lovely bike mind.

Tried it, got a better shave than Ive ever had but my neck looked like a murder scene. Back to using a mach 3 now simply for convenience. Will try again though!!

Nope, the swingarm is very 'Halfords' imo.

To people who know chuff all about bikes 😉 anyone with an ounce of angineering knowledge can see the difference.

How do you not know scruff?? eh?

Quite presumptuous to assume people are nuts just cos they act a bit different to the norm.

Yeah, gonna be honest mate CRC are probably the best online retailer, I've used them for over 5 years now and not really had problems. Sometimes things go wrong, worse things happen at sea!

Nahhh, put your brakes 2-3 inches inboard, so your finger is in the crook at the end of the lever, it'll be much better.

Did a 100 mile road "event" on flats. It was alright, feet hurt a bit afterwards from the pressure (I was wearing skate shoes)

Went to the dentist yesterday and he said that Id probably want my upper left wisdom tooth out at some point. Bit worried but theres no way I'd get a general anaesthetic for it. Too risky.
