Tips? Its a long way with alot of uphill, so take it easy if youre not uber fit. The downhills are excellent but pretty rocky, last year there were alot of riders walking down the edges of the trails. Its a great event, the campsite is good, bikes are as safe as on any other campsite. You cant really ride any of the enduro trails beforehand (unless you know youre way around the Dyfi) however the Climachx trail is defo worth a go.

As a fellow user of the countryside I cannot tell you off about erosion without being a massive hypocrite.

I have a Skoda Felicia estate. Im 19. Its amazing, three bikes and three people in it, cheap to run and no ones gonna steal it! I have a fully restored classic mini in the garage for summer fun too 😀 A friend has a fabia vrs, says its amazing. Go for it.

5 year old mono minis here that have been moved from bike to bike, no more work than a bleed (and only two at that) people have different experiences of different brakes.

Three of my friends are precision engineers, they all use hope brakes and hubs. They agree the finish could be made smoother (like on the older black&gold brakes) but hope designed the grooves for aesthetic reasons (and to save money 😉 ) Hope are very well respected in the precision engineering market.

Might just pop down and ask nicely then. Small child might be hard to come by (I could probably pass for one myself if I had a shave though) and there'd be no banana necessary 😉

    Cheers guys.

Was there on wednesday and it was just friggin cold, Puddles were iced up but there was no snow. However, its entirely possible theres been some snow up there in the last day (there have been flurries here in Aber) If the rain holds off I'll be riding out there tomorrow.

It is probable that for the rest of the four days not shown in that 30 second clip he went somewhere else.

He was going no faster than any other car would be in that area and would probably stop a hell of a lot quicker than any other car too if he did need to stand on the brakes.

Stop looking for arguments you fools!

Didnt read the angles before, but gonna have to agree with those two^^ Knock 1.5 degrees of the HT angle and you'll be onto a winner. IMO 😉

    As a father and uncle,

Reminds me of the Bill Bailey skit "Speaking as a mother"

    Anyway, he says right here:

I think 16 is an unrealistic level to enforce frankly but won't be breaking the law

He wont be breaking the law, and has pointed out that he hasnt fiddled around with anyone under the age of 18. I think he's a peado free zone.

girls at 15 may well be physically developed, but do we therefore assume that they're capable of making adult choices and decisions?

I dunno tbh, but we do with 16 yr old girls.

So if you visit someone who doesn't have a TV licence then you're liable for a fine? what if some stranger watches the TV through the living room window, could you pin the fine on them?

Dunno, thats just what I read on the letter they sent us.

    PJ266

Oh, and the person who is liable for the fine is the one who is caught watching the TV.

We were debating whether to pay or not, eventually the scare-mongering got to us and we did (despite protests from some of the other housemates) I'm in the position that I could just slap them round the face until they coughed up, is that an option??

I'd say its fine. I've seen a quite a few people with dogs on rides now, its quite nice providing you pick up any shit.

Saw one hit a large rooty step-down me and my mate were eyeing up, made us laugh.
