I’m running the new maxxis severe which superseeds the forekaster I believe. The Severe is really good at finding grip in our winter conditions.

Pirelli cinturatos  tubeless 28mm on my road bike, I get about 2 or 3 punctures over a winter, that’s about 150miles a week. I’ve pulled some bits of glass flint out and they’ve been fine, grip well too.

Is there a legal height a wood burner flue has to be above ground? A house near me has a smoky flue on an outbuilding which can’t be more than 11 feet above the ground.

Been keeping an eye o n this post. I had a near breakdown about 7 weeks ago. I ended up packing up work because I had just had enough of it . Luckily we’ve no money worries so can afford to . I was put on citolapram first 1 then 2 and finally 3 tablets. Felt crap for the first couple of weeks but better now . I was getting bad head tick/spasms which come and go still. I’m ok as long as I keep busy and I’m riding loads now so that’s good. I still get low periods but after a Mtb ride feel great. Not sure if it’s the happy pills that  worked or just not working has made me feel better.

Can’t you hire/borrow a bike Alan bike box? Better protection for your bike and they fit in a fiat 500 so go in most cars. Where are you based?may be able to help with a bike box.

My son was at Sussex uni. The last 2 years he was in a shared house with 4 others. Each paid £600 a month.

Just checked my XX1 axs mech and the screw mentioned in that thread is missing. I’ve ordered some of those screws mentioned in that link. I’ve always had issues with changing up from the smallest gears, hopefully this will sort it?

Thanks for advice, we were based in patara, about 15k west of Kalkan. Proper old unspoilt village we loved it, so cheap compared to the rest of Europe. Loads of epic rides up in the hills above kalkan like you said. Thanks again.

There’s loads of great trails over towards whiteways. If you head over towards the Hilton Avisford park hotel near walberton and go north through rewell wood to whiteways there’s plenty to keep you entertained for hours.

Hi, I’ve been riding up Whiteways for the past 22 years. Never had any issues tbh but noticed the jumps being built over the last year or so. I think this is what pisses off the Foresty etc. It’s fine to clear trails but gap jumps etc is going to ruffle some feathers.

Probably frozen solid at the moments, but as soon as the sun thaws it slightly it’ll be lethal. swinley would be safer.

Hi , there’s a travel lodge at Fontwell which is about 4 miles from Goodwood. Chichester is nearby with various options for accommodation. Obviously traffic can be a nightmare getting to the event but you can cycle right upto the entrance and chain bikes to fence. Friday is the quietest day.
