It’s quite believable I’ve had my five down to 28.6 with sram drive chain, avids and sector forks. With pikes and shimano drivechain/brakes it’s 31ibs.

I’m not going to state further on the matter, people wanted to know why a supermarket is so uptight about kids in trolleys and I’ve given the correct answer. It’s in black and white in every Store managers office.

Crankboy, I am a store manager and have been for 10 years. Any failed trading law checks resulting in injury and the store manager can be prosecuted if that person didn’t take steps to fix them. Just because you don’t believe it doesn’t make it not true. I have no idea what you do for a living but if you had 17 years experience in total at one job and I told you you were wrong about a check you had to do EVERYDAY (in depth checks on Tuesdays) It kind of gets frustrating.

There are checks that you have to put your name to and if a fault is found they have to be delt with immediately as they could cause death or a RIDDOR report which you really don’t want. Automatic doors, emergency stop buttons working on Machinery ect and baby trolleys and baby chairs. Let’s face it if it wasn’t important they wouldn’t care if you had your whole family sat in the trolley. They problem you get with security is that they usually don’t converse with anyone unless something wrong is being done and they can lack the people skills. Understandable on both parts.

“No they don’t not in a million years.”

You shouldn’t make statements if you don’t know what your talking about.
about 10 years ago a supermarket manager went to prison as the car park barriers fell through a car and cut off a man’s head. The car park gates are part of trading law checks that you are bottom line accountable for as a store manager, so are baby chairs and fixings for babies trolleys.
if you need further evidence you can always read my trading law folder…..p.s that supermarket manager was also my old boss in a previous company, kinda makes you more aware.

I don’t work for Tesco but I can answer the trolley thing. Most of the time if an accident happens, the person sues the supermarket, pay out, the end. With baby trolleys or baby seats if an accident happens and the person suddenly claims the trolley was broken before (trust me this is what happens 90% of the time) then the store not only gets sued but the store manager can get charged with assault, a criminal record and loosing his license to sell alcohol. Most security guards do not know this though and your one sounds like he was being overzealous.

Say for instance you went out partying with guys from work, they all get coked up including you. A year later one of the guys get caught doing drugs and tells your bosses you do them too, effectively bringing you down with him. Are you gonna deny it or say he’s a loser drug addict talking crap…… Now let’s say your job you now could loose paid MILLIONS of pounds a year and if sacked you would be on the front page of every newspaper.

I’d have done exactly the same, doesn’t make it right at all but don’t pretend that most of use wouldn’t have done the same.

Mojo are very good in all fairness. Mine did this when my huge 24stone mate sat on my bike while it was in climb setting, it completely stopped working, a fellow rider suggested letting the air out and pumping it up again and it worked a treat. My lever has also broke and mojo fixed that and serviced it for free.

Repair or replace ^^^ unless it’s been faulty since you bought it which it has. No point arguing on an internet forum. I’d have to refund this in work no question asked if it had the same fault over and over within two years. Only a poor retailer would try and worm their way out of it. Go back to the shop and speak to them, you’ll only get a million different answers on here from people who have read a part of the sale of good act.

2 year warranty on all electrical goods under EU law. You are entitled to a full refund if the goods are deemed not fit for Purpose from the time you bought them. Ask the shop for a full refund and print off the EU directive and take it in Just in case the person you speak to is incompetent.

What a joke, generation of mommy’s boys, so you fell over big deal. No broken bones, no time off work. 3 god damn pages of this tripe.
You continued to go forward though you admit you couldn’t see and the dog was off the lead, look where your going or stop if you can’t see.

It’s over priced the rs should be 3k to be competitive and you can build it for 200quid more than that yourself with better wheels. I bought a frame only and the build was about 1600 so 3k total build. I’d love another but I’m not paying 4k for a five.

Air in them and go. They don’t dive and the damping never feels harsh so they tend to feel great on all settings, though I prefer the rebound fast. I’m just a weekend rider though.

I’m a 32 inch leg, 18 inch five. I run a short 35m stem and a 19 inch would have fitted better with the short stem, out of saddle climbing I almost hit my knees on the bar and very tight switchbacks, same problem. The five fits me best with a 90mm stem but doesn’t feel right downhill.
I almost bought a 17 when I was picking the frame, but luckily Sat on one in the shop and it felt like a kids bike. Sit on one, it’s the only way.
