First time at Nant yr arian on a cheeky midweek ride

I'm the same as julians , one bike 08 pitch pro and last weighed in at 33lbs ride it to work everyday and local stuff .
I only notice it being a bit porky compared to friends bikes when on long climbs , but is usually out in front on the fun bits 😉

My bike weighs more but i weigh less than others so not that bothered! Just enjoy riding .

Try Montgenevre up the road , great mix of runs for beginners and intermediate (pop over into Italy for some steeper stuff )great snow and PLENTY of sunshine . . gets well over 300 days of sun .

As i only have the one bike ( a double boinger) then thats what i'll ride round the monkey 😉

Went to Afan for the first time last sunday and rode whites level with a friend ,both finish the trail feeling a bit unsure about it …

I know its a fairly short trail but didn't seem to have a good flow to it ?
Think we'll have to try on of the others. 😕

Had my vision 2 for about a year , really good light strong and well built
I'd recommend it as a helmet light as it is more of a flood , its really bright for what it is !

I'm running pike coils at the mo and never wind them down , only ever flick the lock out for long road or fireroads , what does the x-loc do?

I have found the rev's for £454 which i think is a bargain ! I have read a few reviews saying that they are a little bit flexy compared to a pike but i'm sure it's only going to be a small amount? When will the 2011 ones be released? Have read about the dual position air which sounds fab.

They'll be a heck of a lot lighter than my 351 coil pikes!

A thumbs up for the gopro , i've had it for about 20 months and love it , simple robust and the wide angle is superb (my videos are on you tube under same name), think i'll have to take northwind's advice and get the chest mount !!!!

I remember seeing a couple on a tandem mtb a while back up at Llandegla and they were riding on the "drop shore" section!
Not sure if the woman at the back could see what was coming……
