Can anyone remember the name of that funky ska band that played in the big top and then at the enduro bar?

Home from my 2nd Dyfi , thoroughly enjoyed it but after the first main road section as my tubeless rear decided to go flat .
Watching the rest of the field pass by as i fitted a tube was a pretty grim moment ….managed to claw my way back somehow?
Managed the full run down the world cup which was superb! 😉

I’m in N0.68 on my enduro . This will be my second time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend ( apart from falling off not long after the feed station which resulted in a non shifting left thumb, found out afterwards i had fractured it slightly by the ligament!)

Not sure how i’ll get on as i’ve not been riding as much ..its all for fun 😀

Just seen the post on FB “We welcome the Twisted Crank, Cyclists Tavern to the main tent this year, expect fine ale, live music, DJ’s, bike based drinking games. And darts.” sounds great ..who’s up for a beer ?

    What nosedive said ^
I have the enduro and my friend has the stumpy evo , yes the stumpy is a tad lighter and pedals better (and i wouldn’t mind one myself) but i still love mine 😀

My X9 mech lasted for about 2.5yrs then it developed the Sram wobble , not surprised with the amount of times i’ve knocked it about putting it in the car!

Another +1 here , really loved my ’08 pro and made a few changes over years . Dt/Hope wheels , 150mm revs and wider bars etc .
An absolute hoot on the downs and not too bad on the ups , frame is pretty tough to be fair ! I do miss mine after it was stolen.

I had mine stolen back in 2010 was gutted but knew i’d never see it again so had an insurance replacement. Not long after a very kind member of the STW community found it on Fleabay at a cash converters !!
So some do get found .

We only use the primer as its a special tool and nice and quick 🙂

The fuel filters are notorious for restricting flow when the get shitty , causes low fuel flow which results in excessive cranking , surging on cruise / light throttle and cutting out when hoofing it . I would certainly look at replacing it , you will need a hand primer to change it.

Blisterman , from what you have described fault wise sounds very much like a fuel filter problem . We get this quite a bit at work (FORD dealership) Have you replaced it ??

No i don’t think there is but i’m sure someone will come along and disagree !
I certainly enjoy watching it all on Eurosport 😉

My charge spoon looked a bit similar after an off , bent it back by hand (it appears to be made from cheese)

The only bike i’ve actually wanted /considered buying is the 26″ wheeled stumpy evo and that has already sold out for next year apparently …I’m sure there will be plenty of 29er ones left though .

    Key or keyless ?

If its key then cycle the ignition off to on 4 times and a chime will sound . Press any of the remote buttons and it should chime again . Igniton on then off
