Mine lasted 2 years…..still hasn’t fully died, but I retired it, and immediately bought another…..,just make sure you use their recommended rear mech…SRAM that is, anything Shimano requires an awful lot of fettling to get right

Always had really cold feet in winter until I discovered these; 2 years in and still doing the business for me.

My fatty is a Pivot LesFat: fully gnarboned out, and approx same weight as yours.

The Stache is just such a capable bike. It belies it’s geo and fork travel.

yes, it’s nimble and a whole load of other good things.

Love my Stache…..totally different ride to fatbike.

rear wheel slammed forward as far as you dare (tyre/drivetrain dependent) and she’ll be really snappy around tight corners.

    just a great, fun ride.

62 years old; mainly MTB (with a bit of roadie); no whippet; ride 3/4 times per week; anything from 15 mile plantation loops to 30/40 mile XC bash. Always 2000/3000 feet of climbing.

I’ve been using hemp protein for years, so I’m sorted re the product. I just wanted to know people’s opinions re: only after workout, or every day regardless.

Cheers guys: operating theatre opens in 1/2 hour 🤞🤞…..it’s not as if we can just lend him a ride, he’s  only got one working arm (brachial nerve damage) so his bike is a adapted to suit.

Yeah, did give that a go, but it’s tight as.

Always use MTB Batteries. Great reliable lights and you’ll struggle to get better than Smudge’s after sales service.

There is a reciprocal agreement meant in place: IOM/UK.   UK/IOM residents.

    Cheers guys:

we travel a fair bit and I always ride for at least 1-3 days while we’re away (South Africa, Bali, many European trips, plus I’m going to Spain with Ciclomontana in a couple of weeks. I sometimes take part in races in the UK and might abroad one day (Ratrace crossing, Battle on the beach, just fun stuff, at 62 I’m hardly competitive)

i might be looking for something that doesn’t exist, but I just want specific cover, whereby, in the event I get hurt, treatment will be covered, and if I need getting home, that’s covered too…..IOM resident, so we don’t have EHIC card cover (reciprocal in UK, but not abroad)

Tried bamboo and all other varieties of baselayers and always had the soggy results detailed above. Had these recommended and never looked back. Never too hot or cold and brilliant value. (Good old Northern company as well)

What gets me is the inconsistency: i.e. for bike A a, higher than is considered cool, bottom bracket is unbalanced, yet for bike B the same B.B. height is “good pedal clearance”…….this is just one example that I can think of to hand.

Appreciate the work you guys are doing. I know this has been asked already, but I haven’t read a response that my, aged, minimally technical, brain can understand.

is there, or is there going to be, a facility for uploading photos directly from your iPhone photo gallery, or will I still have to go through the “post image” “Flickr” etc process. (Which i’m a bit rubbish at)

Take hope bonobo: 62 (not quite as many bikes) but only been riding for 6/7 years. I’ll get there.
