I swear by these: I get at least 2 seasons out of them, and, if I “reinforce” the understrap a bit, much longer. Good price as well IMHO.

Inaugural filthing in the Manx hills in pretty blizzardlike conditions: she’s a keeper; made it feel like cheating.

I rented a Trek Fuel from these guys. Some of the Cami, admittedly, is flat and stony, but some of it pushed the limits a bit (bike and me) Massive OTB at one point, and escaped with cuts, bruises etc because I had knee/elbow pads on. I was informed that picking up the trail anywhere along the South coast, and heading west to Ciutadella is the best route. Near death apart, I really enjoyed it.

Really knowledgeable guys (1 English) and the bike was a nice piece of kit.

Gave up on Keswick for a variety of reasons (reviews, price etc) and found this place in Braithwaite. Guide is happy; Whinlatter nearby. Anyone been?

Hope you mean the LR Daffy.
Well, it’s on it’s way, and coincidentally, it’s bedecked in hope’s finest orange bling.

Can you buy Hope riding gear that’s orange, and not green 🤔

Well, I only went and did it 🤪

That was some very expensive advice you all gave me guys. Thankyou.

Many thanks, but that only means I’ll have to seek approval for gnarbon wheels now 🤷‍♂️
Seriously, thankyou for your advice. I’m not sure whether I’m capable of “pushing into. corners” enough to do that. Then again 🤔

Did the South lakes with WB a couple of years ago, and we’re booked to do the, Nevada, Arizona, Utah trip next November. We’ve had a good few “Manxies on tour” trips to date, and the Wildbike one was one of the best. “Total professionals, with a chilled out vibe” sums them up.

I’d be trying Nathan Mcomb at Enduro Malaga were I to go to southern Spain again. He’s a young lad who’s sponsored by Vitus, and who has guided for several of the MTB holiday companies in the area (including Sierra)
He’s a cracking young lad who’s set up on his own, with loads of experience of how other companies get it right and wrong.

I recently cracked my new(ish) Carbine rear triangle. Different circumstances, I know, but, it was my fault (branch through rear wheel)

Sent them a photo; 10 days later new rear triangle delivered to my LBS.

Many thanks for your response. Bummer about the sciatica issues.

My surgeon (Prof. Aali Sheen) used some special glue (“Tisheel”????) and applicator. He doesn’t like the pins.

    Hope you GWS

    Great feedback guys.
I’m 63 actually, and take nothing but a few paracetamols at night. It’s very sore, but I’ve got that many “very sore” bits that this just blends in with the rest.

I’m exactly 1 week in now, and laid off the beer until yesterday when I had a few weak ales.

I’ve been for a few walks (too far on Tuesday and suffered) and all seems to be in order.

We’ve got a 3 dayer in early July that I’m fixing my sights on atm, but if I can’t ride, then so be it.

Many thanks again for your valued input.

Cheers guys; I’m hoping that, with it being laparoscopic, I can reduce that a bit, but it’s nice to know normality should be resumed eventually.

Wow, awesome video (apart from the end)

You rode that like I think I ride everything, when in truth, I’m a slow, wobbly, mincing wreck.

Without a scan (MRI probably), everything else, including what your GP says, I’s just guesswork, that will inevitably lead to a scan, and corrective treatment (or not if you’re NHS)……I’ve busted up both shoulders, and they’ve both got loads of other issues; Lennard Funk (see link) will: scan, X-ray, and work out how to fix your injury in one consultation. It’s the best money I’ve ever spent on my broken body. The Athertons, Mark Cavendish to name a few, are testament to this IMHO.

Get an mri scan to ensure you haven’t got this:

I did, and have, albeit slightly.

I bought an earlier version of this: superlight and windproof; best jacket I’ve had/got…..5 years old now and still bulletproof.

    Update:
Sent Intense UK an email/photos. New rear triangle on the way FOC.

    Well happy.

Can’t fault that for customer service eh?

Many thanks for your advice; I did message some of the repair guys, with no response as yet, but all good in the end (if it doesn’t arrive in shards after the ferry journey)
