1 shed, I bought them direct from Nextie, China……came after about 3 weeks (but there was a Chinese holiday in there)

You can now get them from Slam69 in the UK…..good guy for all things Fat, by the way.

I won’t be mounting it until tomorrow, so can’t comment on the ride

    £440ish inc shipping

You’ve still got the issue of mounting on plasterboard with gap behind

    pipiom

I would cut a square of plasterboard out covering at least 2 uprights, screw a square of 20mm (min) ply in its place, and screw TV bracket to it……fitted loads like this…..problem with through-fixings with gap behind is you’ll be pulling the outer plasterboard in towards the brick/block…..

Bought out of necessity I’m afraid……60 year old (almost) junk being continually slapped around on a Prologo nago carbon (loved it by the way) was not good.

Crap with techie stuff (Garmin/maps etc),but I live in Ballaugh and will be going out for a few all-dayers next week….let me know if you fancy a bit of company. There’ll be a few rides going out at weekend as well.

Toros: 2.35 front 2.15 rear does it for me….covers all terrain that I’m capable of mincing about on.

We’ve got: sharp rocky, slippery rooty, hardpack, grassy and slop……I’ve never ripped a sidewall (unlike some of my mountain king sporting friends)

    Good reasonably light all rounders.

Be quick though…. Getting harder to find

ACYCLES have got some cheap HutchinsonToro’s left as they apparently have stopped importing to UK….I got stocked for immediate future…..2.35f…2.15r….does it for me

Nearly there now. just a couple more questions:

1./ I’m a big fan of short (50mm) stems and 800mm bars; is this format suitable for fatbikes?

2-/ what is the best tyre combo for IOM/UK conditions (rocky/rooty/with a bit of slop now and again)

Looking like it’s going to be a LESfat

    OK, finally persuaded him to not get RS1…….question now is: Reba, Rev, or SID;

He’s quite a strong rider, really rips into climbs, so fragile is not an option.

    Any assistance would be appreciated
