The neighbour isn’t elderly but there is a bit of an overhang and far from the first spring of youth as her husband left her I was just looking to do the decent thing and help her with trimming the bush. Albeit with an ulterior motive of satisfying my needs for a decent view of a tidy garden.

I will ask if she wants the wood or not and take on some of the above advice and see how it goes.

You can get a gig homeplug, Solwise do one not sure who else so how much speed do you need? Even if it drops down 50% its stil 500mbps.

If you use a wireless extender you will se about 50% of the speed of the connection as its a second hop so probably not what you want.

For cheapness a few netgear of dlink 8 port switches at each end.

With smaller birds I’d use a priest.

I resigned 3 times from one company. First time they gave me a £4k rise in the January and said they would deal with all of my issues. They didn’t so resigned in the July. The CEO was calling me to retract my resignation and asked to meet me. Had a meeting and he gave me a £10k rise back dated to January. Finally left in December as all of the issues were still there I was just earning a lot more money.

It will make a difference in the short term if you can suck it up and it will help sort your finances out but long term the issues are still there.

For my sins I have the grandiose title Network Consulting Engineer and I design and implement wireless networks. It is actually harder than it sound trying to get 1000s of clients onto 1000s of access points and educate customers that its not perfect.

Also been drooling over the gravel bikes and the Trickster ATR thread. So would like to invest in a frame and upgrade other components along the way.

Ring your vet and get advice. I had a similar experience when mine ate water hyacinth bulbs.

The vet wasn’t sure so they called some animal poisons team and got straight back to me. In the meantime keep a close eye on pooch even if its not poisonous it may disagree with him.

I struggle a great deal in the really low ratios as its spinning out and real low speed balance. Currently ride a 2×10 and I agree there is a lot of overlap in there sometimes finding the right gear but I usually just ride on the smaller ring anyway rarely engaging the lowest ratio possible.
