“Back to the OP; you have no reason to feel like a **** wearing a pisspot, XC lid, full-face or any other helmet at a trail centre. Wear what you like, ride what you like and ride how you like.

My twopence-worth – I wear a pisspot at trail centres as well as for ‘proper rides’ and general mucking about. I wear a full-face for DH. I have no hair, so I don’t find them too hot and am comfortable with their look (‘core, pseudo-‘core – whatever) and the protection they offer”

Thanks Dusty you hit the nail on the head there mate, i’m deffo gonna get the TSG superlight now :)

    nina= we know mate :)
    So tsg or fox transition?
Iv’e come to the conclusion that a full face is for well… full on downhill/freeride which isn’t me so I will sacrifice a hot head for a nice snug fitting, temple protecting pisspot :)

Right pisspot it is then :)
Can anyone recommend the best one?
I was told tsg are the best but the fox transition looks very nice :)

Get something japanese or german, and make sure its diesel, has good service history, long mot and tax and low owners is always good, remember its your 1st car so go for something simple and work your way up when youv’e been driving a while, oh and make sure the cambelts been changed when its supposed to!
Apart from that as long as it looks tidy and the seller isn’t dodgy then go for it :)

Thanks guys, just bought some brand new dual ply 60a high rollers for £35 posted :)
I think they will be perfect for me as they have good rolling rate, nice and grippy, and dual ply to stop pinch flats :)

    Thanks everyone.

So if they are directional does that mean a BG on the back will be a bad idea?
I have a pair and thought you use them as a pair?

Thanks, will they look nice and chunky or will the rims make them thinner than they can be?
    (Does that make sense?)

I might be wrong but I don’t know of any 130mm travel 20mm bolt through forks? If however you said 140mm then its a no brainer PIKES :)

Excellent! looks like STW has taken notice of the fact that some people on here are just too damn nasty and use the forum as a place to be horrible to people who are miles away from them :)

    Just my opinion anyway.

Amazing bike, my mate has the Klein Attitude V which I built up for him, its the one with silver/white pearl paint.
It rides as good as it looks and it looks amazing!!
He leaves me for dust on rides as its stupidly fast on singletrack/bridleways and goes up hills like nothing iv’e seen.
If you want I can send you a pic of it?
Trust me you won’t regret buying it they are pretty special and quite hard to find.

Oh and as to how much to pay thats a bit difficult to say unless you know the spec?
My buddy paid nearly £500 just for the frame but it is sooooooooooo beautiful :)

    Hope this helps Stu :)

Z1ppy, are you being a numpty or are you always like that?
Iv’e owned a few bikes but still have 2 of the bikes, one happens to have fox floats and the other bomber mx comps, I always wash my bike wipe the seals and check the oil levels every 6-8 weeks and guess what they are fine!

Think a bit of simple maintenance would solve half the daft moaning on here.

What the hell do some of you do to our forks??
I have had around 8 bikes in the last 6 years and had everything from manitou to fox and have never experienced anything like the rediculous comments on here!
The worse thing iv’e ever had is the lockout not working on some manipoo forks, apart from that I clean my bike with a light hose and a sponge and everything has always feen fine :)
Must admit though out of every bike iv’e had Marzocchi have always been by far the best reliable, built well and super smooth!

LOL thanks for feedback! walleater, despite how it looks its actually very comfertable and quite easy to ride this for 2-3 hours in the peaks as I rode it before with the T’s and it was great.
I hardly ever ride road anymore and when I do want to I jump on a hardtail, its built up for riding in the alps in Morzine in July which is going to be a right laugh!
Should the shock be upside down then Nickc?

Think your sort of right though mate, but they say 140mm to 180mm on the website picture but are 160mm to 180mm according to the manual on the Zocchi website. Now i’m very confused??
