A cagoule is not made to keep you warm

valid point, it is supposed to keep you dry though being a rain mac and all and in my experience it doesn’t do it as well as my dedicated waterproofs, probably because the waterproof fabrics are expensive to develop and manufacture. so IMO you get what you pay for.

So your 20 quid peter storm cagoule will keep you as dry and warm as a £200 quid fully gore text breathable TNF. Berghaus, Rab etc? I sure as heck know what i would rather have in my pack when mapping the Scottish highlands.

I’ve got a top from there that cost £10; just as good as stuff costing £30-40. Actually decent quality.

Not knocking it at all, if the OP doesn’t want to pay for branded clothes I was offering a suggestion of a quality cheap alternative.

I grew up with a lad who’s parents were really old, I thought they were his grandparents when I first saw them. They are no longer with us but then neither is my dad who was a “acceptable” age to have a child.
His parents were amazing and did a fine job of raising him.

I saw someone hand in a photo copy of someone’s complete practical folder.

he was ejected from the course the person who lent the folder (and had no idea what had happened) got massively penalised also.

I never have to put my work through software, using endnote its so easy to reference throughout the rough draft.

We have a stupidly low plagiarism limit of 5% and it’s pretty difficult to ensure that you’re under that limit without running it through some software…

What mickey mouse university doesn’t have a standard 0% plagiarism requirement?

If i even use a sentance that isn’t referenced (to the letter) I would get dismissed off of the course and quite rightly so.

Having just gone 1×9 myself I am using a Paul’s chainkeeper, I haven’t managed to loose the chain yet.

My experience wont help you that much but thought I would share it.

My sisters did exactly what you were describing and went into ford (Sheffield) so many times I can’t remember the figure, Ford were so shit and offered no help that they took the hit and got rid.

I hope you have a better experience of ford than this!

The police don’t find it very funny, I was a driver of a car when one of my dickhead mates did exactly this to some lycra clad roadie.

They came to see me and I got done as I wouldn’t grass him up.

I was seriously unimpressed and it was at that point I realised I needed a new bunch of mates.

Ill add my 2p’s as this is a subject very close to my heart.

I Vaporize (healthiest and most economical way) cannabis regularly, I suffer no ill effects from being a smoker (because I’m not) and more importantly it allows me to lead a semi normal life without mind bending medication.

I am a manic depressive and discovering the benefits of weed pretty much saved my life, its the only substance that has allowed me to be medication free for about 8 years, nothing I have tried (and there has been many) has had any positive effect on my illness except this.

It is completely immoral that a natural plant is illegal!

cannabis use is documented for nearly the whole duration of our existence and there are many scientific documents that will support the medicinal benefits of THC.

I hope one day that its normalised, I hope so very very much.

Nope not bullied at school, well apart from the time I bucked the trend of black shoes and got brown ones instead which were way to out there for the playground.

I had annoying neighbours, they annoyed me by going about their daily business in a loud and unthoughtful way however it is their life and they are entitled to live it how they want to, just like you and I are entitled to do whatever we like (within reason)

I could of kicked off I could of used violence instead I moved to a much nicer area with a much nicer house in the middle of beautiful countryside.

Turns out the annoying neighbours were the catalyst I needed to improve my own life :)

If only that were true, I have had some complete shockers in my time, moved to my current house mainly because of 2 bad neighbours. Didn’t mean I needed to get revenge though just sorted the situation out myself.

While I agree that does sound a bit unpleasant, the question is why should the person who is doing nothing to disturb their neighbours be upset by people who do things that are clearly upsetting their neighbours (noisy people, for example). However in this case they may not even know the smell comes up, and probably can’t smell themselves anymore anyway.

In a perfect world we would have perfect neighbours, unfortunately it isn’t and we don’t

I am in full support of the OP dilemma it drives you bonkers when your neighbours are loud and for a non smoker it must be a bit of a mare. However lying to a landlord to get an eviction as suggested above that prompted my comment is so out of line (probably more so than the neighbours being loud and smoking)

Are they tenants? – get in touch with the landlord, it usually does the trick. Might even be worth a bit of exaggeration if you want to get them kicked out – why should you move?
