Yes, but it’s not the only way to enjoy life though, is it. I don’t mean that in a preachy way, but the thought of going clubbing or even for a heavy session really doesn’t do it for me any more. I do like going down the pub occasionally, but will rarely drink more than a couple of pints (I used to drink like a fish).

I am fitter than I’ve ever been though and would be happier out on my bike than down the pub.

I don’t see not drinking as limiting my fun. I just find fun in doing other things now compared to when I was yonger (I’m 38, btw)

I hardly drink any more fella but I still enjoy a late one out at night, even alcohol free ones. (plus I can negate taxi costs by biking back) So no defiantly agree drinking is not the only way to have fun.

I still very much stand by life gets pretty dull if you limit the time your allowed to have fun in. Regardless of what that fun may be.

me and my other post 30 mates regularly have late ones regardless of the day of the week.

Life gets awful dull if you limit the time your allowed to have fun in.

GSK don’t give a **** about peoples health they just care about money and profit, they have killed many very ill people over the years and frankly I hope the CEO rots in a very painful death :)

Not much help but you just have to get up!

As soon as your alarm goes off just get up and get out without thinking about it, before you know what’s hit you your halfway through your run/ride and on the way home.

After a few weeks it will become second nature.

I met my SO at uni, she was the first girl i saw after my dad had dropped me off, she was/is stunning.

After 5 years I am currently watching her pack all her stuff into the back of her car, she moves out later.

going to be an interesting few months i imagine.

You fear nothing? Nothing at all?

sure I have reservations about certain things but I wouldn’t go as far as to say I fear them. Maybe that’s where I am going wrong fear is a great motivator but then that’s a whole new post.

I spent over half my life in fear, fear of completely stupid situations my time away if anything addressed this but as I say maybe that’s my downfall.

I’ll send over a sarnie and some Charmin!

For the record, there is a fundamental difference between being scared and being a coward. I’ve suggested that your lack of desire might be linked to fear, not that you are a coward.

muchos appreciated, I don’t like charmin though so I used some nettles.

    Fear… fear of???

I will be the first to admit I used to fear a lot of things, that all changed when I had my freedom taken away for a year (not in prison I’m not a criminal ;))

now I fear nothing, I bother no one and no one bothers me. It’s a great life ;)

for the record I wouldn’t grass on a filthy rich person either so my morals are intact.

It still amazes me how involved with other peoples lives some people can get.

sorry for the irrelevant post GW please accept my humble apologies

sounds a silly suggestion but Tiger woods golf is a little bit addictive, my mates who all hate golf can play it for days on end so you don’t have to be a golf nut to enjoy.

Do you know what sort of genre your looking for as that may help the suggestions.

    busted

I’m scared so scared I just did a poo.

I find it funny that you can deduce how I feel from a few words, you should be a shrink ;)

We clearly have different morals I suppose thats what makes the human race so interesting.

I would still never grass about anything, live and let live etc

    no offence taken whatsoever :)

can I get a bacon sarnie?

bantering with adult strangers is not (and should not be) a huge part in any game for kids.

is it ok for it to be a huge part of my game though?

Are you a professional criminal or just a keen amateur?

Neither, and i am a little unsure how you have managed to reach this conclusion. I think most crims are scum, still wouldn’t grass them up though I live my life, I worry about my problems, if my stuff gets nicked it’s up to me to sort it out :)

    j_me – Member

I hope your peers and neighbours are as cooperative when your bikes are nicked or your house burgled.

It’s none of my peers or neighbours problem, its my problem, and this is why I have insurance, some people are scum and take what’s not theirs when this happens my insurance pays out.

I am very happy to live my life how I do karma in the end catches up with everyone.

eta. this has digressed somewhat from the alleged benefit fraud of which I still wouldn’t grass him up :)

I don’t see anything wrong with that whatsoever as long as the equipment is wiped down afterwards which I would expect of any gym goer.

being free from the restraints of clothes can be hugely liberating.

You can turn the sound off but for me the banter is a huge part of the game.

but then if you don’t know any different…

That’s an idea. You could vandalise his car or spray paint something on his front door.

I saw someone in Plymouth who had the whole front of his house painted in huge white letters.

    Grass.

Made me laugh a lot and hope that his peers and neighbours treated him suitably.

there’s an age limit for a reason.

I would say the gameplay wouldn’t be too offensive but if he played online then its another matter.

live can be a very fruity place and IMO no place for a youngster playing older age limit games.

If you feel he must play one then Halo reach would be the better option (for some reason i encounter far less idiots on reach than on COD possibly due to COD being an 18 and reach being a 16)

But the gameplay of reach again IMO is nowhere near the level of COD.

    Tricky one.

There is a large country park (Br@dgate park) a mere 10 mins ride from my front door which is probably the biggest of it’s kind in Leicestershire.
It is also home to the most interesting trails in the area.

However bikes are banned completely apart from the tarmac strip that runs through it.

My rule of thumb is this:
Night time, before 9am, or after 6pm = fair game.

Other times = discretion to be advised.

I used to get thrown out of braggy so regularly, Early mornings are where its at for the least hassle.

Wasn’t that place left to the people of leicester? Which includes me and I just happen to ride a bike ;)

is there any particular reason why living in a street, you know like most of the population does, doesn’t appeal to you ?

people like you live on streets ;)

No but I might be able to stay on the same canal so closely linking me to the bridleway should I get nostalgic.

Maybe if I get really low I could just pile some horse poo on my bike (I will have sold my car by then so next best thing?)

+1 for working with horse owners to make the trails better for both horse and bike. From the attitude of most round here it would never happen but still we can but hope.

I am moving soon unfortunately (or fortunately) as I need to be much closer to uni so problem solved for my poo dilemma.

    haha no you mup,

simply put BEFORE I lived here i didn’t have a problem with horses, their riders or their poo poo so why on earth would I worry about moving to a bridleway?

    your funny, I like you

    PiknMix

I must admit this issues really annoys me but not when i am riding, i live on a bridleway and horses just poo everywhere, i have had them do it on my car my drive and during the summer there is never not a load of horse manure spread along the road.

I have been threatened to be killed, mowed down and have never had a polite word from any of the riding wonkeroos.

I hate horsey people (sweeping generalisation) all horsey people!

Online gaming the 360 wins hands down.

Recently been playing cod at a mates and its no where near as flowing on the ps3.

xbox live might be 40 quid a year but the gaming experience it brings is worth it imo.
