I think CF's been around long enough now and they're not disintigrating left right and centre like some of us first feared. Having said that, my three bikes are Ti.

2 out 3 people I know with Ti Cove Hummers have had them replaced within a year due to cracks ……………..

I have a nephew who at 5 years old has been through the whole cancer thing, the rest of the family shaved their hair off to make him feel 'normal'. It's such a horrible thing to happen, it makes the positive stories even more powerful!!

Jules was one of the guides we had riding from Chamonix to Zermatt, he's quite an amusing character, so along with the other recommendations he sounds like a good bet.

I use one of those Scarecrow water squirter sensor things (up above) and it's stopped whatever was sh**ing in my garden doing so. It's jsut a pain when you go to put some washing on the line and forget about it!!

Now replaced with Pike 454's and really happy with them, of course if they were a bit lighter …… !!

Hmm, 2010 model uses Tange Prestige tubing, instead of 2009 Colombus.

Had a 29er frame in Tange Prestige couldn't believe the difference when I swapped all the bits on to an 853 frame, 853 on a hardtail for me!

Panic over they have just called again to say they have found it!

I really didn't want to get in to the who's gonna pay for it thing!

And yes, it is a Laguna! 😳

It's not the garage I bought it from, just a small 2 man band at the bottom of my road where it broke.

Just to make matters worse, it's a French thing with a credit card type thing instead of a 'real' key.

I distinctly remember giving it back and even quoted them the words I spoke!!

Just when I managed to get them out of my head this post pops up, again I managed to ignore it.

It's a bit quiet at work today, so my mind started wandering, got a friend going to the states for a couple of weeks in December, maybe he could squeeze some in his case, got looking on the net, seem to be out of stock in a lot of places, looked on the Niner site, no Root Beer or Nude's left, not much is will go with my Root Beer frame!! 😥

My pipe cutter failed dismally on 853 forks! The cutting wheels are replaceable though so it's back cutting copper pipes again!
