qwerty – usually my motto too, but I struggle to spend a lot on some things, this being one!

TandemJeremy – They look just the ticket, that sort of thing was £50 in Halfords!!

I’ll give them a go, three reviews all giving 5 out of 5 …. !

Two of my mates didn’t start until about an hour and a half in to the (solo) race and got ‘given’ a lap as soon as they crossed the line for the first time!!!

Hmm, not bad, but it isn’t going to be the normal £999 to fit in with most company C2W schemes!

The GF’s BT gives my Ridgeback a run for his money and is definitely the boss in the relationship!!

She’s a big dog in a small body!!

and a very good pillow at the end of a long day!!

Ruby entered a house with a 14 year old cat, he’s still going a year later. She leaves him alone unless Ralph (the Ridgeback) is around, then because he tries to chase him she does too, any other time she curls up on the sofa with him!

My god there are some ugly ‘components’ in amongst the pics, here and in the links. I wouldn’t even put them on my bike where they could be removed again, let alone permanently on my body!!

Not my thing really, but some of the bike chain stuff is pretty good.

You’ve spoiled it now, I was hoping Merlin were gonna send me something I hadn’t ordered!

If it’s just the bearings that are donald, lob them in some boiling water, press out the bearings and replace, done mine a couple of times, still lots of life in the wheels themselves.

There was an add on Telly or Radio the other day saying Sony Centres were doing a 50 quid trade in for you old one if you got something that's had it, might still not work out any cheaper than Curry tho!

My mate was well chuffed when he arrived at the Bonty last year and the parking bloke asked if his A5 was an Aston Martin!! Think that says more about the calibre of the car parking staff than the A5!!

Took my RR's off last year ans tried Ardents, prefer them TBH, South Downs chalk and roots for me most of the time though, definitely not much cop on them!

Just to late to ask if the car was still at the pump!!

It's definitely the worst way round, but quite a weak mix. Didn't Top Gear do something similar with a BMW 330d they were racing? Oh no, that was their home made diesel that did the fuel pump in.

    It's quite risky.

    They are class!!

Can't see my dog going for them, he puts up with a raincoat in the winter, for my benifit (dry house), but I think he'd draw the line at them!!

I've snoboarded in Chile in August, for a tad more than £600 quid though!

You have to do something with Lottery winnings 😉

Brighton MTB meet up at the Sussex University car park and ride at 7pm on Thursdays ….

Pretty sedate pace, but you get to ride with the guys who made the trails so you can moan if you don't like it 😉

Jamie, have your recieved the mail? If not mail me your phone number and I'll call you.

    How's that gonna work ❓

Yes, I'd been thinking about that, my current post lives on the limit, the Joplin's and Pure's both state longer lengths, but it depends if it's the same amount going in the frame!

    😯

I was going to say no comparison and all that, but having got a fixie on the C2W I guess i have been tending to ride that a fair bit, taking long routes home on my commute etc, but the balance of power will be restored when the novelty wears off!! 😆

Probably a good decision about NOT getting a Ridgeback.

I have a 14 month old, and I have to say, it's been quite hard work!

I agree with only 50% of the 'write up' above, but with your considerations I would advise againt. Mine hasn't got a bad bone in his body, but he's big and incredibly strong and can hurt you in SO many ways without trying to or meaning to!! He will be perfect when he calms down, but not everyone can wait for that to happen!

He loves watching other dogs on telly …

And he's a bit Scooby Doo at times …

Wouldn't be without him, but not for everyone.

Blimey, so much for trying to add a little humour in to a depressing situation!

I don't know what you look like, but why else would you have 'hippy' in your name?

Don't you just love this place 😆

Joplin 3's are £110 and £130 on CRC at the mo, i950 is £170 without remote.

Can't help but think they will ultimately be as cheap as chips, hence the thought of going for the cheapest, but doesn't look like that in the short term!

The remote button/trigger, whatever you want to call it, on the i950 is very neat ….. hmmm, decisions decisions!

I don't think that will have done your cause much good, have you got any pictures you want altering in photoshop by any chance?

Just charge your spare battery and pop it in, oh no, you can't, Apple don't deem you clever enough!!

I love the idea and the look of iphones, but not the handicaps they come with!

Sorry, completely unhelpful, off to bed now!!

I'll probably end up with Highrollers again, hated them at first, but we came to love each other and I really trusted them 😆 Trying not to end up with the bike I had before though!

Might try the Advantage's though as they are significantly cheaper than HR's at that price.

Just book in to the campsite down the road, no idea what it was called, but it wasn't expensive.

Spock – what are they like on wet off camber roots?

Always stuck with Highrollers on my last bike but the new one is verging on weight weenie and I've avoided them despite them being the most confidence inspiring tyre for my local stuff.

Lost interest in bike racing a few years ago when the classes became very similar and the 2 strokes disappeared.

Are his celebrations still as good, does he still manage to find white coats and stethoscopes on his celebration lap?

Chuffin 'ell, make sure she doesn't go out of Europe next time, at least then the phone companies have been forced not to take the p1ss.

All you can do is plead for leniency, as already said, the calls have been made, the tariffs published, the bill sent!!

It's still less than half of a mates monthly bill when he was sent to Germany a good few years ago and used his mobile for Internet access via his laptop, the company paid it, but asked him to be a little more careful next time!! I think he halved it the next month 😯

Definitely an excuse for another bike!

I tried SS in rigid 29er form, so it was 3 new things at once, absolutely loved it (having been fairly sceptical) also gives you a reason to look forward to winter, and the only bike I bother changing tyres on as it's also good fun in the summer!

Many years ago now (12 or 13). It's quite low and didn't have the best conditions while we were there, 2 consecutive years, 2 weeks a time. It had great potential but too much was closed, mostly the more interesting stuff. It's not far from Les Deux Alp and Alp D Huez which is where people headed when the snow was poor.

Had some awesome times in Cham, doing crazy stuff, also had frustrating visits where everything is shut because of ice or too much snow, or a helicopter has taken out a lift!!

You pay's your money and takes you're chance …. !!!
