All of the mini cab drivers around here use Priuis’, so if you want bombproof then that’s where you need to invest your money.

I’ve worked away from home a lot in the past and have enjoyed it immensely, it was a hoot in my younger days. I have tended to get jobs in cities/countries I have wanted to visit. In hindsight it can be hugely damaging to relationships and family.

It is a very good idea to limit the hotel bar time, I’ve found the people in the hotel bar are in a similar situation to me – working away form home – and the conversations are generally similar. When away by myself I’ve explored the local area and sampled the local restaurants. Bike, walking shoes, computer have all helped pass the time. Getting out of the hotel is important for me as the room/hotel starts feeling a bit like a cell.

I don’t work away from home any more apart from the odd night very occasionally.

A very good read about an astonishing wonderful lady. A great insight into the Northern Ireland peace process too.

Kimmeridge might be worth a look but not really a beach as such, as has stones with rocks in places.

Lots of rock pools to explore, a fossil museum, fishing, crabbing and an underwater safari if the kids get bored. The Kimmeridge cafe does extremely good food too.

    Lovely place.

Manny was superb and showed his undoubted class. He was too quick for Thurman and had far better ring craft. A dominant display and even downed Thurman in the first.

We should be asking if Mannys display could tempt Mayweather out of retirement?

Grown men that congregate late at night, outside a wendyball stadium and chant an obscure name. The name often belongs to a young athletic man from South America or Spain. They stand chanting Pedro or Miguel or Jesus or something similar, for hours and hours into the dead of night. These chanting grown men quite often dress up in some highly flammable nylon outfit that they purchased from SportsDirect for about £3.95.

Quite often they do this in front of television camera’s and the images of these grown men are beamed throughout the country.

Isn’t this the language we would usually associate with the likes of the Westboro Baptist church goons?

I find trumps ability to ignore any criticism or scrutiny utterly depressing.

It’s very busy this time of year but Kingston Country Courtyard has a lot of rooms and sometimes has the odd room available. Always best to phone them and ask, rather than rely on their online booking system.

I think the only thing that is clear is that Jeremy and his Union/Momentum chums don’t want to deal with Brexit.

This is quite understandable IMO, as EU membership would probably prevent re-nationalisation of large swathes of British industry. However, I feel Jeremy’s strategy of not coming out with a firm commitment of either Leave or Remain is backfiring spectacularly.

Which begs the question, how does Jeremy/Momentum/Unions persuade the lost voters to return? Or are Labour now utterly doomed for a decade or more?

Anyway, I still think predictions of the end of two party politics are wildly exaggerated. We’ll see though.

    I’m not so sure.

If the tories don’t deliver (a No Deal) Brexit by 31st October, then surely a GE and farage is waiting in the wings to further dilute the tory vote?

I don’t think it looks like someone has tried (particularly hard) to force the window as the uPVC on the opening sash looks undamaged. A better photo or closer inspection might reveal more.

    Brexit policy will be everything.

    dazh Subscriber

    No it won’t.

The recent polls that put TBP way ahead of the tories suggest otherwise. Politics is all about Brexit at the moment.

The tory membership are about to vote for someone to be their leader that offers little apart from a (a No Deal Brexit) single issue and a possible defeat for TBP and to a lesser degreee Jeremys Labour party. And lets not forget that Bojo was unelectable 3 years ago and fled the leadership race.

Your neighbours do not sound like the kind of people who should have had a dog in the first place. I would avoid all contact with them TBH.

Only scum would destroy a dog because they as owners, didn’t treat it well.

I believe Bojo will happily take the UK out the EU with a No Deal. He will have the backing of the ERG & Moggists headbangers and the tory membership. They all believe Bojo can deliver another GE victory, thus defeating TBP & Jeremy.

This will embolden Bojo even more than ever and he will simply claim over and over again, that HIS tory government will save the country and deliver a (never appearing) deal.

The man is a ZOMBIE MAGGOT…!!!!

Spaniels are cracking dogs and one of the few ‘pedigree’ dogs I would consider. They always seem happy dogs and have a wonderful, infectious enthusiasm for life.

If a breeder is prepared to ignore the law then you should consider if it is a breeder you want to use.

I wholeheartedly agree with this ^^^^^

If a breeder is cutting body parts off a young dog before they know if it will be a working dog or not, then that breeder isnt the type of animal lover I would be supporting by buying cut dogs from. Others may view this differently.

It’s hard to argue against Kimbers post up there ^^^.

Labour should be ahead of the tories and are wasting the greatest opportunity in a lifetime to put some daylight between them and the tories.

Nonetheless, well done Labour. I expected TBP to romp home in Peterborough. The result has got Brexiteers in quite a froth this morning, seeing as most Brexiteers were expecting a sizeable majority.

“I can’t make sense of it.”

Obviously Jeremy is the only person in the land that is capable of bringing the entire country together, so with refusing and requesting to meet trump will appeal to everyone.

A cunning plan if ever there was one!

I had an A6 2.7 estate of similar vintage. Very nice and capable cars.

You need to check the rear washer pipe location, in my old car it went across the top of the computer thingy in the hidden compartment found in the boot area (it did in mine anyway). The pipe can split quite easily and the water will drip straight onto the computer thingy. If this happens the car will stop working.

A replacement computer thingy might cost you more than the cost of your car.

Isn’t the bus a bit of a red herring though?

Having read the judges decision linked above the case seems to hinge on the fact that Boris repeatedly quoted the £350 million figure in print, on TV and radio and indeed stood in front of a bus.

The crucial bit seems to be that there seems to be evidence that he demonstrably knew that the figures were wrong when he kept saying it, making it a deliberate porky.

It’s not about the writing on the bus, it’s about the words that came pouring out Boris.

    This ^

I hope this case makes Bojo and the rest of our self serving politicians think a bit more about what (and how) they speak. Populist politics have no place in our country and we should do everything in our power to stay it out.

That sounds a bit cheap to me.

Are you sure they will dispose of the old windows correctly or just dump the rubbish in a convenient quiet spot? Are they properly insured? Will they support the bay roof correctly when they remove the old windows?

Theresa had an impossible job with Brexit and a divided party but her greed for power unsurprisingly blinded her.

A tory party leadership campaign now allows Bojo to out “Farage” the divisive, one trick pony Farage. The ERG & Moggists are taking control and pushing the UK further to the right. I fear we have dark days ahead of us, dark days indeed.

    And no credible opposition whatsoever.

Would anyone be brave enough to forecast how Labour will perform in the EU elections today?

Will Jeremy’s cunning fence sitting policy work? Or will the be humiliated by St Nige of Faarange and Bojo’s political party’s of hate?
